I will admit- 10 things is my least favorite topic of the week because I can’t ever come up with 10 so much pressure!! So you get as close to 10 as I can come up with!
1. I’m getting a cold sore! OMFG how did this happen! I’ve only had one once before 2 years ago and it was on a trip just like this where I was traveling for work over here! Ugh…
2. Thankfully since that incident I’ve been carrying a new Abreva tube with me in my work bag at all times, hopefully they don’t expire & it’s still full strength!
3. I’m ready for our next IUI, mostly because I’m ready to be done with TTC. We need to move onto being parents or move on with staying just us. I feel like I’m stuck in limbo with so many life decisions.
4. I want to buy a piece of vacation property- bad! My grandfather has property in the FL Keys and since he passed away 2 years ago it’s all been going through probate. Well now my dad & uncle want to sell it. I asked for first dibs, but of course this is horrible timing for us financially to be considering this with so much unknown about our future. Selfishly I wish they would wait to sell another year so we had more time, but I guess even then it probably wouldn’t matter. We just shouldn’t do it! My heart is not onboard with the logic- it breaks watching the family place go like that. We have 30 days to decide…
5. I feel like I have less to say not being at home! My life is hotels, food, and work right now! Lol
6. I’m ready for a job change (within my company I hope). One just opened up that I can apply for but it’s not the one I really WANT. The one I want, I know is coming open in the next month or two, but there’s no guarantee that I would be the successful candidate… it’s a gamble! Take one now that gets me something new and is still interesting/different or wait a few months for other job which I’m 100% more excited about, but not guaranteed and get stuck in my current role with no end in sight!
7. I’m going to a show tonight! Going to see Jersey Boys with my Mom & step-dad, should be fun!

1) Since we have started licensing and TTC, I have lost touch, with everyone. It isn't even that we are newlyweds, I am just so focused on getting stuff done to start a family.
2) I have started to do a circuit workout with my SIL and friend twice a week. It is at a local church that has a lot of activities. At the end of the 45 minute they do a little motivational devotional. I feel no need to attend that church, but it is nice to take a little moment for some self reflection, as I am too high strung in normal life.
3) Thanks to this self reflection, along with a random meeting of one of my good friends at the store, I realized how I have lost touch. So, we are having her over for dinner tonight.
4) I love to host, I wish that we had the ability to allow me to stay at home. I would cook, bake, and decorate to my heart's content. Note: I am not good enough to do those things professionally to make any money doing it.
5) As a young feminist, I thought that the worst thing in the world was to be forced up to stay at home in the standard gender role. Now, I would love to be able to do so. I believe that especially once there is a child in the home, I will want to stay home even more.
6) I love my job, it would be really hard to leave it, but on a day like today when I am getting screamed at by employees, I would rather be scrubbing the floor.
7) Being that I had the gastric sleeve, I focus all of my food choices around protein. This morning, rather than having another ucky protein bar, I decided that I would try a bowl of oatmeal, since I had a box of it up in the cabinet. I quickly remembered why the box was still up there, I gagged from the first bite. I ate it as a child, but I am not sure why my mom did so differently with it!
8)Only 3 more weeks till B and I head with 4 friends to Vegas for the weekend.
9)We live in one of the last US states in which our marriage is not recognized, because of that we had to go to Indiana to make it legal. I have recently been able to change my name, now it is time to order my new Passport, so that we are able to go on our honeymoon some time before our first anniversary.
10)I am thankful we weren't hit by the snow yesterday, but I am thinking of all the people that were, YUCK!
1. I'm currently eating a delicious slice of pizza despite having a perfectly good (and healthy) lunch in my bag at work.
2. I'm stopping for a cookie on the way back to the office.
3. I closed my door and cried for 15 minutes in my office this morning. Freakin' hormones.
4. This pizza is really good!
5. I have an after work meeting over drinks. I'm looking forward to a diet coke (which I'm trying to drink sparingly)
6. Sunday was my four year anniversary of adopting our dog (manada came into my life a few weeks after that)
7. The timing between M and the dog was purposeful. I adopted a dog and then signed up for OKCupid so I wouldn't have to negotiate getting a dog in a relationship.
8. It's a good thing, too, because M came with two cats and I probably wouldn't have been able to convince her to let me get a large hound mix
9. I think M is making us spaghetti for dinner tonight. I'm looking forward to it.
10. A friend of mine is testing tomorrow after an IVF and I have everything crossed for her!
****loss and living child discussed***** We're queer. I'm 34, have severe stage 4 endo, and both fallopian tubes are gone. My love ("Manada" 33) was diagnosed with diminished ovarian reserve. We did Partner IVF (my eggs, her uterus). We lost our twins Tav.in and Ca.sey at 21 weeks gestation.

High on the list of things I never thought I'd hear-- LGBTQ people travelling to INDIANA to get legally married. Holy Cow

No kidding! But at this time Michigan is trailing behind almost everyone! The legality part was not that important to B, but I took her to the Pro Football Hall of Fame for her birthday, so I convinced her to "stop by" Indiana on the way to Ohio! Luckily she didn't think about it much Score for the smooth talker!
1. I started getting up early to start work. This give me about 1.5 hours to work before I run DP/DS to work and school. I then come home and work another 6 before pick up duties and then have a half hour to finish after DS is in bed. I am enjoying it because I get more time with DS, rather than trying to finish work while he is awake, but I am soooooo tired. Waking at 5:30a is for the birds. lol.
2. I've become the crazy rat lady. I bring their cage out during the day and talk to them while I work. I just sewed a little pouch to put them in while I'm working so they're close but not hiding in my clothes. I've lost it.
3. I really love winter but I'm ready for spring.
4. shemarie82 How far are you from Indiana? I'm in IN about 5 minutes from Michigan.
5. healz413 I came with cats too. lol. DP tolerates them and all my other crazy pets.
6. RM80 I get cold sores a lot when I'm stressed. The pop up on the right side of my lips in the corner. OUCH. I hope it clears up quickly!
7. 2moms2be where are you? Haven't seen you the last few days!
8. I really don't have much to say other than I'm tired.
9. I'm ready for the weekend. DP took Friday off, so when DS gets home we get a nice family weekend together.
10. I made an instagram account for the rats. It has 83 followers. My goal is to make it go viral. I'm aware this is crazy.

1. Every time I come on this board I see waffles' avatar and get a serious craving for waffles. Every single time.
2. We had our 28 week midwife appointment yesterday and got to hear the baby's heartbeat again. So, so sweet!
3. Little girl ("bean") has been wedging herself into my right rib all day. It's both painful and comforting.
4. No school today for the snow storm! (I teach elementary school music, K-5, plus band, chorus, and orchestra)
5. The kids at school and I have our first big concert of the year this Thursday night. Because of the snow day today, we might be a little screwed, but I'm not anxious about it since it's out of my hands. Secretly hoping for a delay tomorrow, because I'm feeling lazy.
6. What is this "nesting" thing I hear about? All I feel motivated to do the whole day is sit on the couch reading and snacking.
7. Coming up with 10 things is really hard, you guys.
8. DW is home from work for the snow, and is crop planning (she's an organic farmer). Everytime she tries to tell me about seed packets and row counts, my eyes glaze over. I think she's on to me.
9. I'm outgrowing all my maternity clothes already, but I'm just barely third trimester. Feeling strapped for cash, but pretty sure I can't go to work in yoga pants. Sigh.
10. Bean is kicking me in the vag now, which I think is her way of saying hi. Soooo... "hi", from little bean.
1. I've been lurking here from TB (carl10) but got locked out today Andi don't have the energy to figure it out. I had a bad feeling about it the last few weeks anyway
2. Not much snow here but COLD
3. DW and I have been really tightening sown the budget and I sold my awesome car and bought a beater. It's just a car but I'm sad
4. Layoffs at work and I almost wish I had been included so I could stay home with O for a few weeks. That would have helped # 3 though.
5. I'm hungry. Still an hour till DW is home for dinner.
6. Got to walk the dog today. Good for him and I
7. I have been able to get back in a training routine in the past few weeks. It's really good for me mentally.
8. Ok that's all I got looking forward to getting to know all of you!
