Anywhere vs The Nod

I want to get DS his own chair. DH doesn't think he needs one and he also thinks DS has too many toys. I disagree on both. So...I am telling the grandparents (my parents) to get DS his own chair. 

So so my question is....

PBK Anywhere Chair vs The Nod Chair. 

Is is there a difference other than style and price?

No idea about those brands, but I LOVE that my kids have their own chairs. They have a little table with 2 small chairs in the kitchen for coloring or snacks and a couple chairs in the living and play room. They get tons of use. Kids like having furniture they don't have to climb to get into, not that they won't still scale your couch like Mt. Everest.

I also agree kids need lots of toys. When they get overwhelming, I usually just put a bunch away in a storage tote or rotate between the playroom and living room. (I have several play areas in my house; toys don't really bother me much.)

My husband says we have to many toys all the time. I will honestly tell you we don't have half the amount I have seen at his sisters or friends houses - he's crazy.

As for the chairs, I do t know much about The Land of Nod chair but I know I've seen them and always thing I like the look of the PBK better. We've had the PBK Anywhere chair for a year now and it's in great shape still after everyday use. We love it

DD has the PBK anywhere chair and we like it. I actually got it second hand on a Facebook buy/sell/trade site for $15 and it's in great condition. I don't know how long they had it or how often it was used but DD has been using it for about a year and it still looks great. Easy to wash too.

DS has the ugly sofa version of the anywhere chair. We have had it a year and it looks great. I am not familiar with the Nod chair.

We are PBK chair people too. It still looks great and she uses it every day...heck I even sit on it quite often. We have the largest size they come in and I can sit comfortably in it and do because we live in a tiny NYC apartment. It washes up nicely, but my one complaint is that we got the light pink polka dot one and it definitely looks worn right on the edge where you sit. I think it's mainly because I sit in it with jeans, but I did just realize you can buy just the cover so we might just buy a darker replacement cover. Overall the chair is in great shape though.
