It's been super chilly at night here lately, but still high 80s during the day. It leaves me the dilemma of what to dress DS in for bed. We leave a fan running at night because it's still warm at bedtime, but by midnight it's quite cool if not cold in his room. Has anyone gone back to a sleep sack? Are LOs aren't old enough to sleep with blankets, yet, right?

I've been putting dd in light weight long sleep pjs lately. We keep a fan running, but before I go to bed I will sneak in and turn it down or off depending on temperature in her room.
I have occasionally given her a blanket if she seems cold at her MOTN feeding. But last night I covered her up and then she rolled over and was sleeping with her face in the blanket. So, I took it away. Which of course woke her up. Mom fail. I do think she'd probably be fine with a blanket all the time, by I'm too paranoid to let her have one most of the time. I think that pediatricians typically say 1 year is when you can start using one.
I've been putting DS in a sleep sack with just a diaper. The sleep sack has the added benefit of making it harder for him to stand up in his crib in the middle of the night. On cooler days, I add a onesie underneath. As we get into fall, I'll probably switch to fleece PJs.
Not sure what we'll do in the middle of winter. I prefer cooler temps at night. I'm also wondering when I can give him a real blanket and if it will actually stay on.

It's finally cooled down here. Hopefully for good. So he's spent two nights in jammies, otherwise he was just in a diaper WITH a fan on him lol. We have heat in all our rooms and don't pay for it so we keep our apartment toasty once winter rolls around. He actually runs hot anyway, so I doubt he will need a blanket for awhile. He does actually sleep with one of his Aden & Anias muslin blankets as a comfort item. We saw his sleep improve after we gave it to him a few months ago. It stays on the very side of his crib and is basically balled up and he just cuddles with it LOL.

K sleeps in two piece pant pajamas. She also has a blanket. My husband keeps it cold in the house. We have had no issues with the blanket as far as pulling it over her face. Sometimes she climbs on top of it though.

K sleeps in long sleeve footed pajamas when it gets colder. I also have two piece pajamas that are long sleeved. He is a mini heater so I'm not sure we will use fleece pjs. We will see how winter goes and whether I decide to start Letting him sleep with a blanket. He sleeps tucked up so he keeps himself warm
We've actually been having the warmest weather of the year this past week or so plus our air conditioner is broken so no warm jammies here yet. My kid has just been sleeping in a tank top and a diaper. I will be picking up some new two piece jammies soon and then probably some sleepers when is really gets chilly but hopefully by then she'll be able to have a blanket finally too.
Still warm here so AC is still on with fan, but she sleeps in a onesie and footed PJs. Once we turn off AC and if it's still warm I'll just let her sleep in the onesie. I think this winter I'm gonna give her a blanket.

We really haven't changed anything. We run the ac if it's hot and he's in either 2 piece or footed pjs. We only use cotton footed ones in the summer. If I'm behind on laundry he wears a plain onesie

We let DS sleep with those blankets too for comfort. He used to wake up MOTN searching for something to hold. Since I gave him that permanently he STTN.

I should add that they are all footed. She will not leave socks on, so I make sure her feet are always covered. We will maybe introduce a blanket this fall, but she tosses and turns so much that I am not sure it will work for her. Sleep sacks are out for that same reason.
Texas just had a "cold" front this weekend. Over here that means, daytime temps in the 80s and nighttime temps in the 60s.
I put DS2 in a sleep sack but with holes for his feet (Halo calls them early walkers and you can find them on Amazon). I don't like using a traditional sleep sack because he's walking and I don't want him tripping over it. He sleeps in either a footed one piece pajama or a 2 piece with socks on and a fleece sleep sack on top of that. We keep his room at around 72-73 and he likes to be bundled up like that. The one night I put him in a cotton sleep sack, he woke up in the middle of the night.

We use just a onesie and one of the Aden & Anais muslin sleepsacks or one of their muslin blankets if it's warm. Otherwise pjs from Carters. I stocked up on some last year during the clearance sales, so I guess we'll use those for the fall/winter.

We loved those muslin sleepsacks and used them with just a diaper over the summer. We had to stop using them in August though as they seemed dangerous with DD constantly standing in her crib. She was always tripping over them. I wish I'd come across them sooner, they really were perfect for summer.
