Week/Size fruit: 12 weeks today! Baby is the size of a plum.
Appointments: I had an ultrasound on Friday. The baby had a heartbeat of 160 and was measuring right on schedule. I have an appointment with my midwife tomorrow.
Symptoms: still nauseous all the time but the actual puking has subsided quite a bit. My sore breasts disappeared but came back this morning with a vengeance. Perhaps another growth spurt?
Rants and raves: we still haven't decided whether or not we want to stay team green. I really wish that we had someone who could be a tiebreaker vote.
GTKY: NBR - If you could travel in time would you rather travel forward or backward? Why?
I'd like to travel forward to get a sneak peek of what to expect, I'm afraid that if I traveled backwards I change something that would change the whole path of my life and I'm pretty happy with where I am.
Week/Size fruit: 12 weeks tomorrow Appointments: I've got my 12 week OB on Wednesday and my NT scan on Friday. Supposedly they'll do my Maternity21 at the same time, but the doc was kind of vague on how it all works, so I'll ask at this week's appointment. Symptoms: Knock on wood, but I'm feeling pretty good. Not as tired, rarely queasy, and my bloat at least isn't getting worse. I'd love my boobs to show up, though. Rants and raves: I am having a hard time mentally with running right now, but in an unexpected way. I *feel* good and have to constantly remind myself to slow down, don't charge up hills, etc. I was so tired last time that I didn't have any choice but to turn it down a notch. I assume my body would let me know if I'm overdoing it, but I just don't know...
GTKY: NBR - If you could travel in time would you rather travel forward or backward? Why? Forward. I'd want to meet future generations. I was so glad C got to meet 2 of his great grandmothers shortly before they passed, but we got started so late that I'll be excited to meet grandkids! BR - What's your favourite pregnancy resource (app, book, person, etc.)? Google is probably my most-used right now. I feel awful saying it, but this pregnancy just isn't as much in the forefront of my mind like my first was.
Symptoms: My stomach hurts but it's something I ate, not the baby. Not many baby specific symptoms right now.
Rants and raves: We just found out that we'll be getting paid less money than expected when we move and that my flight home to have the baby is on us... which is fine... but if I had to evacuate out of Bogota or had I needed to out of Manila they would have covered the cost no problems.
GTKY: NBR - If you could travel in time would you rather travel forward or backward? Why? Probably forward, I just want to have the baby and get settled in the new country.
BR - What's your favourite pregnancy resource (app, book, person, etc.)? I was on TB with DD and learned a lot, now I don't really use much because I sort of know what's going on.

Week/Size fruit: 7w1d, blueberry
Appointments: a week from tomorrow!
Symptoms: some nausea, sore boobs, tired.
Rants and raves: I had an early meeting this morning and left before my son woke up. I miss him!
GTKY: NBR - If you could travel in time would you rather travel forward or backward? Why? I don't know that I would want to do either! Maybe a visit to the far past, but not my past because I don't want to change anything, and I would rather not know the future.
BR - What's your favourite pregnancy resource (app, book, person, etc.)? I haven't use many this pregnancy. I had a good website from last pregnancy, but I can't remember what it was! I'll have to look for it.

Week/Size fruit: 8/ raspberry
Appointments: this Friday for an us
Symptoms: nausea and fatigue mostly
Rants and raves: I am a hot mess of emotions this week. My last pregnancy stopped progressing in week 8 so I'm a nervous wreck. Every little twinge or lack of symptom for a minute makes me worry. This is going to be a long week.
GTKY: NBR - If you could travel in time would you rather travel forward or backward? Why? backward, I'd love to go to the 1920s and be a flapper. I love a good sequined outfit!
BR - What's your favourite pregnancy resource (app, book, person, etc.)? I use all the apps. I really like ovia bc in their ticket change you can switch themes and it's super cute.
Symptoms: Still sick, but less so today than the days before. Sore boobs, usual stuff.
Rants and raves: I cannot focus on anything at work. Literally nothing.
GTKY: If you could travel in time would you rather travel forward or backward? Why? Forward! I want to see what the future holds! I want my hover skateboard, dammit!
Symptoms: Still nauseous, but it seems to be easing up and mixing in with heartburn now. Yay!
Rants and raves: I'm just praying for a good NT scan.
GTKY: NBR - If you could travel in time would you rather travel forward or backward? Why? Forward. I would love to see what the future holds for my kids and for our world.
BR - What's your favourite pregnancy resource (app, book, person, etc.)? I just look at the Week by Week Pregnancy book I have. I only know that baby is the size of a lime because I memorized TB's stages.
((hugs)) again, NatalieDavid. I hope your u/s this week brings you peace of mind.
Week/Size fruit: 9w5d, green olive
Appointments: NT scan on the 25th
Symptoms: Nausea is lingering, but letting up. I also had an increase in breast pain, so maybe those are getting bigger again! Still rocking my bloat belly.
Rants and raves: I've had an awful cold all weekend and it's bumming me out. On the bright side, we're going to my mom's tonight to celebrate the new year! L'shana tova to anyone celebrating! Hope your m/s finds apples and honey agreeable I was going to post a picture, but I don't want to make anyone feel barfy.
GTKY: NBR - If you could travel in time would you rather travel forward or backward? Why? This is such a hard question, but I think I'd have to say backward. I am kind of a geek about historical costuming (used to do some work in this area) and there are some time periods I would just LOVE to see in person.
BR - What's your favourite pregnancy resource (app, book, person, etc.)? Besides here, I like Baby Center's pregnancy info (not the boards). I haven't found an app I like at all. I just go to the Baby Center website.
I just need to stay here, where you all seem to be a consensus of nausea that starts to let up after or around 9-10-11 weeks. As I've AWed multiple times, my emotions are out of control, and I shared this with the pregnants among my TK month girls — one of whom thought it appropriate to tell me that no, it's not normal for nausea to lessen until 12-16 weeks. This is supposed to make me feel better... how?
I couldn't refrain from snarking my response. I'm a real peach today.
I want to hit that person with a shoe for you. Their response was super insensitive, not to mention uninformed. Yeah, some people feel better around 12-16 weeks. Some people feel better even sooner, while others are sick their entire pregnancies. There's no real "normal".
And totally anecdotally, but all my "symptoms" disappeared with DS at 9 weeks. This time around, gone around 10.

Week/Size fruit: 10w4d prune Appointments: next Wednesday. Can't come soon enough. Symptoms: so sick and exhausted. I just feel blah all the time. DH asked last night , " so everything just makes you gag??" Yep Rants and raves: 2 more weeks then I'll be off patrol. I can't wait to get out of this uniform. GTKY: NBR - If you could travel in time would you rather travel forward or backward? Why? Backward- I would love to live in the renaissance for just one day. BR - What's your favourite pregnancy resource (app, book, person, etc.)? webmd app is awesome.

Ugh. Yeah all sorts of ranges are normal.
I had three bouts of nausea the whole time I was pregnant with DD & never threw up. This time just the first few weeks and randomly since then but it's been pretty rare since about 9 weeks.
Week/Size fruit: 8w1d; raspberry (though I prefer gummy bear)
Appointments: Friday is my last u/s with my RE, and then I meet with my OB on 9-28
Symptoms: Easily overheated, mild nausea when I eat, and so much bloat on my tummy. It's ridiculous.
Rants and raves: ***loss mentioned*** We miscarried on September 17 last year. I'm dreading Thursday so much... I specifically (if not irrationally) scheduled our last u/s on Friday to calm me down the day after.
GTKY: If you could travel in time would you rather travel forward or backward? Why? Prior to this past year, I'd have said the past. But this last year of IF treatment has left me desperate for a crystal ball for me and the 3T ladies--a way to find out that/if everything will be ok!
What's your favorite pregnancy resource (app, book, person, etc.)? I love reading the Mayo Clinic's pregnancy guide--I just like the way it's organized.
minae01 how was your NT scan? I didn't know they did blood work with it so I hope that doesn't end up being a ridiculous expense, NT was 1.4 and LO basically refused to co-operate.

NT went well! NT was 1.3 for me - or maybe 1.4? I can't remember exactly. Everything looked great. HR was 144 bpm. OB told me I had a 50/50 chance of making it to term this time due to my two preemies (32w3d and 36w0d), so I'm a little bummed about that. She thinks I'll probably make it to 35/36 weeks, which would be just fine. I will likely be an early-mid March momma.
Yeah, the blood work (I did Progenity) is standard with the scan. I hope it doesn't cost you extra money!

Hopefully then it was included when I contacted my insurance for approval with the code so it'll be no big deal! Good luck with making it past 35w.
The only thing they mentioned to me is to make sure I schedule my A/S for after 20 weeks because LO is small and it was difficult for them to get everything, they had to do external, internal, external in two positions to get enough pictures that were clear.

Week/Size fruit: 8/ raspberry
Appointments: emergency appointment today bc my body likes to keep things interesting. I've been having lower back cramps for two days which made me nervous but not enough so to call the doctor until I random ally had a gush of bleeding last night. Doctor got us in first thing this morning and we saw a healthy baby with a heart rate of 150. I have some blood collecting around my ute so I'm on rest for the next two weeks until I go back. The doctor said me throwing up last night stressed my body and that's what loosened some of the blood. They aren't worried about it causing any issues and it should go away on its own. The timing with the cramping was just bad luck and the doctor said cramping is completely normal through pregnancy.
Symptoms: on and off nausea and lots of fatigue
Rants and raves: I'm lucky to have such a great doctor who completely gets PGAL brain.

I had my first u/s on Monday! The fetus looked like it was doing The Worm in there--no wonder I'm sick all the time! That thing is rocking the boat! I also took the Harmony test, so I'll have those results (including the sex!) maybe the end of next week!
Oh my gosh NatalieDavid! How scary! I am so glad the doctor got you in right away to reassure you. Happy you got to see your little raspberry with its beautiful little heartbeat! I hope the bleeding goes away soon.
