So I took a FRER yesterday morning bc I wanted to see if the test line was getting any darker. The test line was darker than the control line! By a lot! I just bought these tests, so they are not expired or anything. I googled and some people are saying that you are "so pregnant" that the test line sucks up all the dye before it can get to the control line. Or it could be a screwy test, I guess. Anybody else have this happen?
I'm really hoping to take a nap at some point today. I got maybe 3 hours last night and I'm so exhausted, but unable to actually fall asleep. Insomnia can suck it.
In other news, I need to go grocery shopping. Last week I didn't buy nearly enough snack foods and I need more sweet fruits. I stated cleaning the kitchen last night, so hopefully I can finish that today. I feel like I haven't really cleaned anything in a couple weeks and it's starting to be really noticeable.
I had my nurse visit yesterday, and my next appointment isn't until the end of October, but I will get an ultrasound then! I wish I didn't have to wait so long to be able to see my LO. It's so reassuring when you can finally see their little heartbeat.

I finally figured out why I'm so tired. Instead of being converted into energy, the minuscule amount of food I am able to eat is being turned into gas.
I'm on day 14 of this flipping cold. FOURTEEN. I think I probably actually was getting better last week, but we babysat my friend's son on Thursday and he was "starting to get a cold" (which I thought was the one DD and I had), I felt better on Friday and Saturday, and the plague hit on Saturday night. This is getting ridiculous though.

Boo. That sounds awful. Hopefully it's on its way out.
On another forum I'm on there's a guy that is being super judgmental and degrading to women the way he's been posting and it's taking everything I have to not just rage. But I like the forum, so I'm trying to not get myself banned. But seriously. RAGE. I've called him out and he's all "but this is a support forum?!" yeah asshole, so stop being such an asshole!

I did this with a wondfo-style test earlier this week. The test line turned colors before the control line did and it was significantly darker than the control line after a few minutes. Let's take it as a good sign!
Our first appointment is this afternoon and I'm anxious/nervous/excited. TBH, this may sound weird I haven't been that into this pregnancy; between keeping up with a toddler and trying to stay awake at work I haven't had to time to dwell on this pregnancy and daydream like I did with J. (I have to come here on a desktop a couple of times a week to look at my ticker to know how far long I am.) Today though I'm finally starting to get excited

I feel yucky today.
Around noonish the past week or so I start feeling really cruddy. Dizzy, nauseous, tired, shakey. I'm assuming it's because I need rest, food, and water but how do I tell my body that I don't get food or rest until my lunch time?
Usually once I sit around, nurse whatever lunch or water I can stomach I perk up around 1:30 but that stretch is pretty awful.

If you're getting dizzy and shaky, you need to have a snack available. It sounds like your blood sugar dropping and that can get dangerous fast.
I just binged watched the first two seasons of Game of Thrones.... In 3 days. I've now moved on to season 3....
I did this. I was out sick and suddenly I'd finished multiple seasons. I ended up watching the rest at work on my tablet. I had such a cush job back in the days (6 months ago)

+1 to this! It sounds like your blood sugar is dropping.... Keep some juice or fruit handy through the morning.

I can't believe I never found this show! I'm kinda digging it lol And that was a cush job! All jobs should be cush.... I don't much care for jobs that require lots of hard labor....
o2girl, I had actually tried watching GOT twice before and just couldn't get past the first 5-10 minutes. Something about being home sick helped me get over the hump and really get into it.
I figure at the old job, I worked.. maybe 50%. The main reason I can't do that here is because while I now have a HUGE office, it's also entirely glass. BOO.
Thanks @led and o2girl. Guess I'll need to stock up on juice boxes or fruit snacks or something.
High protein snacks are good. Some almonds or peanut butter and crackers. Protein helps blood sugar in the long run, so make sure you're trying to get some worth your breakfast.

I have some mixed nuts but they haven't been very appealing. But maybe you're right maybe I should try some peanut butter and crackers.
