We're definitely staying home. He nursed again, threw up everywhere, so we took a shower. He was acting fine when we came downstairs, but I fed him some applesauce and he threw up within minutes.
Morning! Add another 1 year old to the club today...it's little Ms. W's bday too! I still do not understand how we have one year olds already. Crazy.
So, work has picked back up and things are once again chaotic and nutty. I get to work 2 overnights in a row tonight and tomorrow -- paid to sleeeeeep!! Would it be weird if I brought my noise machine?
Thank you ladies.. I don't want to bring the Randoms down and have tried to not dwell on my situation here. But I just had to get that out. I came home and told DH and after we hugged it out he said "people are stupid and they suck".
@joybaby5 What kind of washer do you have and where did you buy it?
(((Hugs))) armfruit. Can you and LO get out of the house today? Maybe even for lunch out or something different? It's not going to make your fight better, but it will break up your day and give you a change of scene.
I am the worst at keeping track of addresses. I finally got with the program and ordered an old fashioned address book. I just need something I can hold in my hand and look through. It's the first time I've felt as old as I am (maybe older). Today I'm going to try to get it filled out with the addresses I have and update it with those I dont. I'm oddly excited about this!
I need my DH to stop asking when a good time for his work trip is. There isn't a good time. Anytime will suck for me. Just schedule it so I can move on to being jealous of your hotel sleep, mmk?
tessymessy It's a Samsung front loader. We bought it from my mom. She moved houses, and didn't need them. I think it's probably 4-5 years old.
@joybaby5 Is it turning off mid cycle? We had a Samsung FL Washer in our old house and had 4 or 5 different components replaced.. finally Samsung gave us a new one.
tessymessy you aren't bringing the thread down, we want to share your good times and bad. That's what friendship is about.
bookshelves let me guess: WHY WONT YOU NAP, CHILD? That's my complaint of the morning.
Haha, more inconsequential; still haven't decided what to do about MIL's birthday outfit for baby (I lack the ability to lie about an "accident"; I need to just either find my balls and disappoint her, or realize it's just an outfit and not the most important thing in the world.) And stressing about getting my house ready before Saturday's party. The main food is catered, and I have a cleaning lady coming Friday. But again: MIL. <ETA: To reiterate -- I'm being ridiculous.>
We haven't tried napping yet today, so that'll be my next complaint.
I'll come accidentally damage it for you.
Then you don't need to lie.
Or we could suggest ways for it to accidentally be damaged.
Toss it into a laundry basket with a bunch of white clothes and ask your H to run a load with bleach.
Leave it in reach of the baby while she eats bananas or some other staining food.
Pretend you don't want the baby to get it, then walk out of the room. With any luck it'll be hidden so well you won't find it for months.

Well, we ended up with 34.5" of snow here, which apparently is an all time record for Worcester (in the 100 years they have data from). They've done a good job clearing things out here, DH unburied most of the car yesterday, and it's light snow at least, thank god.
Sorry to everyone with crappy sleep. LO had one long wakeup last night which he hasn't done in a really long time. He seems to only want to sleep on someone lately after many weeks of awesome crib sleep, and I'm afraid this is the start of a 12m sleep regression. :/ But the plan is not to go back to co-sleeping this time- even once the sleep regression is over we end up spending weeks getting him back out of our bed, and I just can't do that again.
Happy Birthday babies! W, baby Dreaming (she's adorable btw thanks for the pic!) and baby @elf828
tessymessy I'm sorry you had to hear that. I hope your results come back good so you don't need to go back anymore.
LO's socks lasted exactly 13 minutes today. Our house is only 67 degrees, so I guess I should bite the bullet and finally buy some soft soled shoes.
My first FWP of today: The Corn pops cereal is calling my name, but we're out of milk so I'm going to have to eat toast, again. And yes, I'm twelve when it comes to cereal.
armfruit I'm sorry you guys were arguing. Hopefully you can get your mind off of it today. DH and I have been "off" since the trip home, and I hate feeling like that too.

armfruit Our places are generally $10 too but unlimited time. Totally worth it for once in a while though, it really wears them out! I don't think Adam would last much longer than 1.5 hours anyway, fwiw. And it's a great place to practice walking!
