I'm completely confused by the changing wording of "liking".... (I've seen "likes", "love tits", "has f*cks to give" and "thinks this is swell" - there may have been more that I've missed), but I'm glad that it's not the f**ks one anymore, that one bugged me for some reason...

I love roundabouts/ traffic circles. It's such a Jersey thing. One Jersey thing I'm happy to have out of my lyfe is jughandles/u turns. It shouldn't be so hard to make a left handed turn.
We are having my oldest niece and her boyfriend over for dinner. He lost his job a few weeks ago and I know things have been tough for them. I made way too much food on purpose so I can send them home with leftovers.

Hey annie0714 and tessymessy there's a C25K thread on the healthy living board! I know other people mentioned trying it too, not sure if anyone else is doing it currently. Week 2 Day 2 DONE. I forgot there was 1 less running section than week 1 so I was all geared up for one more, and was sort of disappointed when there wasn't, which is basically insane. I would've kept going but I needed to get back to work.
codypup happy birthday to your girl! Even though she seems to hate bdays
I've been lurking a lot these past few days. I've been a little off and not up to posting a lot but I've been trying to stay caught up. Just an fyi that I am creeping behind the scenes.
I'm laughing a little at all the roundabout talk... in MA we call it a rotary and they.are.everywhere. There's a huge one right before the bridge to the Cape... hating the thing is like a MA rite of passage. I never heard it called roundabout until I lived in Ireland (where they are also everywhee, they pretty much are they every place we would put a traffic light outside the city), I had no idea that was their more common name!
@cara5565 and @elf828 thanks for asking. I'm just going through some stuff and feel a little run down. Hopefully things start clicking soon. @elf828 my lo gets really rosy chapped cheeks too. She also flips if I touch her face and she is really flinchy. I put lotion on her face from behind so she doesn't see my hands.
To continue the roundabout discussion, this little, tiny central PA town a few miles from where I live got two roundabouts a couple of years ago. It was horrifying and hilarious to drive through them the first week or so. No one had any idea what they were doing. It was basically a circle of stopped cars whose drivers were frantically waving at each other. It even made the local newspaper.

So I called my mom, who is retired from the guvmint, to freak out about my name/birthday/social being out in the universe for someone to intercept. After I calmed down, she ran me through my list of options, and I looked up a phone number for the people at our old house. Turns out it's the same people we sold to, and I had a nice little chat with the wife. She said she'd be glad to keep an eye out for it and give me a call if she gets it.
mamosey A pulls at his penis all the time. It's not just a tug either, he pulls hard! It makes myself and DH cringe but it doesn't seem to bother him.
I was warned about this and it still amazes me how rough he is. Ouchie.
And yeah rotaries are a way of life here. When people are used to them they're not bad, and much better than sitting through lights. In the town I grew up in- tiny rural town, 10,000 people- they replaced a 3 way stop of back roads no one used with a rotary. No idea why, but it was so tiny the school busses and fire trucks couldn't use it!

bookshelves FWIW I bought LO a birthday outfit, but before his main party we took a few kids to the play centre and I didn't want him to wear it there. I planned to change him as soon as we got home, but he just wasn't having it. So I have his cute sweater outfit still with tags on, and he wore a tshirt and jeans to his party. After so carefully picking out his outfit for the day, I'm surprised to report that I'm just fine with what he wore, and I barely noticed.
Your MIL seems ok, I vote dress LO in the outfit you picked out for the day, and MIL outfit for LO's "real" birthday. Even if you just take a pic and then change her. I'm willing to bet that your MIL will be fine with it.
ETA: I'm still only reading page four, so sorry if there's a resolution to OwlGate

I just called my pedi to see why they hadn't called to schedule LO's 12 month well baby and they can't get her in until two weeks after her birthday. I am feeling all sorts of antivaxer rage.

mamosey I hope the sperm spilled onto floor and not upholstery. I'm trying to imagine now much it would suck to get that out. (Not to mention the actual shitty part of being out sperm.)

So I got a call about the job. They would like to have me come down tomorrow to present an offer to me. Yipeeee! But still so strange that no numbers have been discussed yet. I feel like I can't get excited because I have no idea if we will be on the same page and if it will be realistic for me to accept the position. Has anyone had an in person offer before? Just seems a little strange!
