I used a pattern, but can't get it at the moment. Just looking at the pic, ch to desired length, then 5 rows if hdc per strand should get it. Then you just braid and stitch thru all 3 ends, on both ends. Add a loop to one side and a button to the other.
I wish I could say that I followed you there, but I didn't Thanks for trying though!!

calliope omg, that necklace is amazing, love it! ardent I really like the fox with the mittens! The way your animals are drawn reminds me of one of my favorite children's books, The Mitten by Jan Brett.

I just stumbled across this board. I'm a FTM that is attempting to make our ETSY business my full time job so that I can stay at home with little man once he arrives, in approximately 3 short weeks . I would love to connect with you ladies and discuss how to make this work. Here's the link to our shop www.etsy.com/shop/RockyTopWorkShop

My store is empty right now. I'm worried my crafts aren't good enough haha.
Building my Etsy shop has been a lot of hard p work. I am on year two. My goal is to make it into a lucrative side gig. I am almost at 100 listings. I will be there soon.
My advice is to join a few good teams. There is a critique one that will give you advise on specific parts of your shop. Maybe one on SEO. And some fun ones. I have a few fun geeky groups I belong to. And my fave is my Sneak Group, which is like an Etsy flash mob. Great group of people.
Also, lurk the successful sellers similar to your shop. See how they write thier copy, take their photos, run thier facebook/twitter/tumblr.

That's what I've been doing since I re-opened my store. I re-did a lot of things and still have so much more to go. I can't wait to make my first sale!
No etsy, but here is my pinterest board of my projects:

Anything I make I will also generally custom make for others upon request. Will also make other things custom (like sewing, cards, etc) upon request. I'm trying to make a business, but it's more made to order than made up front than listed after.
Please let me know if you see something you like or if you have any tips for me, thanks!

I haven't joined any groups, but I second lurking other shops. You can even see what they've been selling the most (under their sold items). This really helped me when I first started out, as my items are more seasonal and it helped me learn what I should be working on when. I'll have to check out the groups, though.
I've been really busy at work the past couple months, so I haven't been adding as many new designs as I would like. Any advice at all would be welcome on my shop - www.etsy.com/shop/ViperPaperCompany
It's more of a specialty thing - all digital. I've been considering adding physical prints of my artwork though...
Here's mine - Acts of Craftiness - My shop is about to have it's 3rd birthday! I can't believe how fast times flies.
Right now, I'm in the process of renaming and rebranding my business, launching my own website, and adding new product lines/types. I'm currently selling cross stitch patterns and kits (my designs) and a few stitched pieces. I'm letting my finished pieces expire and won't be selling them anymore. I'm adding stitching supplies and accessories (hand-dyed embroidery floss, needle books, needle minders, grime guards, and project/supply pouches).
I love checking out other people's shops. I know what I'll be doing the rest of the afternoon.

Sorry for bumping this.
I've been a fan of your shop for quite some time. I so want to one day order one of your custom code kits. I just haven't decided what I want it to say!

I have had this shop in my favorites for some time! I plan on trying some cross stitch this year.
I had to send a photo of your shop banner to my sister, her name was the same before she got married. Same middle initial too. Oh, common 80s names
I really love your embroidery!
So funny! I've only heard of 2 others, but that was their maiden name as well
When we were younger, there was a girl of the same age, that had same first middle and last name, and same father's first middle and last name. We found out because they shared a dentist... had to eventually decide which was which by mother's name. Super creepy.

@thiscrazylifeilove I actually didn't use a pattern. Everything was off the top of my head. The goggles were handstitched with felt. The hat is a basic earflap beanie.
