Really, I just want to AW how awesome my four-year-old DS is. Currently, he will only respond to "The Captain," and will only refer to himself as such. He completely ignores me if I use any other name.

Your 4 yr old is amazeballs. That's seriously hilarious.

I'm so sick right now I can barely move. I haven't kept any worthwhile amount of food down in days. I'm faint and shaking a little and rocking a massive migraine. Alone with two toddlers. Worst mom of the year award goes to me for how much TV my kids have watched today.
DD started peeing in the potty this week! She'll be 2.5 yrs old next week. Monday she peed once and yesterday 3 times. It's funny because there will be times she absolutely refuses to go near the potty - like first thing in the morning or after nap when she really has to go. But she'll start peeing in a diaper, say "uh oh, I peed in diaper" and run to the bathroom to go sit on the potty. She's the definition of strong-willed so no one will make this child sit on the potty unless it's she wants to...no use putting a pissed off toddler on the potty.
That sucks, jedimomtricks - hope you feel better soon. If you're starting to feel faint and shaky because you haven't held anything good down for a few days, it might be time to call your OB's office for help.
Your kids are probably enjoying all of the TV time, anyway. The important thing is, you need to rest. FXFY.

Thanks I was actually just thinking it may be time for the doctor. I always feel like I'm being silly going to them for seemingly little things...but yeah. Feeling super weird right now. Thankfully hubster is home tomorrow.

Soooo I dunno if you guys remember me mentioning earlier in the week MH's car accident? He's doing well but went to the doctor and he does indeed have whiplash. Poor thing. Has had to have THREE DAYS off work. He is devastated. /sarcasm
Doctor told him to walk and to swim, so we went for a swim today. My god, I am out of shape. Gotta get my backside to the pool more often!

I totally did that as a kid! When I was watching The Sound of Music everyday, I demanded to be called Liesl. When I went through the Inspector Gagdet phase, I was Penny. I believe it to be a sign of intelligence and awesomeness.

I am certain my 16 month old daughter is going to be a stunt woman when she grows up. This kid frequently tries to fling herself of the couch or out of your arms. She likes to hang upside down and if you're going to play with her make sure you do something that will give her butterflies in her tummy, otherwise she won't play with you for long. She's a roughy-toughy!

Argh, for some reason it isn't letting me comment so for the 5th time I am going to try to post. I like qdoba too. Hmmm maybe I should get that instead. It has been months since I have had qdoba.
elvenqueen, glad your H is doing well. I love to swim, but I haven't been to the pool in ages. When I feel out of shape, I typically kickboard. Thank god for the slow lane.

Sorry to hear about your DH, hopefully the R&R will help!
I hear you on working out more....my neighbor and I used to ride our bikes everywhere when we were little, right? Sunrise to sunset every day. When I went home for labor day we decided to take our kids for a little ride, thinking it would be fun. Hellllll no. So much chafing and huffing and puffing. Total mess! When did this happen?!?!?

I've been wondering for awhile, like a couple weeks now....If you have some really bad stretch marks, like really thick ones, stretching them out more in this pregnancy...do you think there's a breaking point? Or does the skin keep stretching and more purpley? Because I ask the real questions.

When my sister was three she only responded to 'Princess Queen of the Universe'. She still thinks quite highly of herself.
Also, wore my bellaband for the first time today. I'm never buttoning my pants again.
While looking for my gif I found this which is too good not to share:
Haha second one had me laughing. Isn't the bellaband amazing?
I can't stop watching it. Also, yes. It felt amazing and it was like I had a secret. I was just walking around like a boss wanting to be like, "yup my pants are unbuttoned AND unzipped and there's nothing you can do about it!"
