The one we have for LO#1 is the Sorelle Verona from BRU. It's held up well and is very sturdy. If you buy the dresser and the chest that match, they come assembled. Big plus for me. Also, I'm short so it's easy to get LO into and out of. We've used rail covers from Kohls and have not had an issue with teeth marks. I need to wash them, but I'll do it during a time when he's awake and not needing the crib. They also have 20% off a total purchase of $599 or more for furniture.

We have the Bedford Baby Tribeca crib (in black). I bought it, hoping that it would last since it was a convertible. Well, my child, who was never one to chew on anything....chewed on two things: my boss's dining room table, and her crib. So needless to say, even though I eventually put teething pads on the crib, it was already kind of too late. It was like a beaver attacked it. She was in the actual crib from 2 months until 13mo, then she was in it as a toddler bed until 24mo, and then a regular bed (we didn't even bother using the crib as a headboard and footboard at that point), at age two. So at age two, the whole thing was taken down, and she was just on a regular bed (without bed frame - just the metal supports that you can buy for cheap with the mattress), and at age 3.5, we had a headboard made that went with her room theme.

We went with the IKEA Hensvik which I still love 14 months on. It's quite low set and I like how it isn't too imposing - those huge sleigh style ones are way too big/heavy looking for my taste and for our small nursery. I like the two levels and the fact it converts for toddlers.
We haven't used it yet but purchased the Bellamy Convertible Crib from S.mart S.tuff as a floor sample (it was not the price at this site!). We also got the toddler/daybed rails, and the rails to convert to full size. We love the look, but will have to see how it holds up to years and years of kid use.
