SC: TV is totally "babysitting" my child today while H and I hang new shelves in our closet. Pretty sure she's watched at least 2 good with already today. Emme is being entertained by her bouncy seat in our room, surrounded by our clothes and mess.

Also, clearly late to the game... but re: pay negotiations. The last article I read about Bradley Cooper didn't say he claimed he would help them negotiate, just that he would be open to his female costars about what he was offered/getting paid before accepting a job so THEY could would be aware and could negotiate more equal salaries for themselves, i never read that he was going to help them actually negotiate . His POV was that he can do a small part to help change the huge gap by simply being open and willing to share his salary info during negotiations. I think that's respectable.
I see Renners point, he's right, it's not his place or anyone's place to help negotiate for his costars. Again, that's an agents job, and an actresses job to tell an agent what's acceptable /unacceptable... but I know for a fact there are/were major pay gaps at my job thru the years... but at one point I stood my ground and asked for my review/raise as promised when I know others didn't get them ... not my job to tell or push others to get reviews if they didn't get them. And your definitely not going to get a raise without the review.... I'm almost positive there's still gaps, but it's harder to get raises when you move to an area wi the lower COL, but get the same pay as the other city you lived in.... so I'm not making a fuss.
SUUUUPPPPPEERRRR late...but I'm basically just carving out some proboard time once a week these days
My FC: A glass of wine at night is just part of the routine. If it's been a hell of a day it will be more like two. Suffice to say this last two weeks our wine stock has taken a hit.
Re: Jeremy Renner. I think the reason he's taking some flack is his response came off as a "not my problem, I can't be bothered with it" and also like he was dodging the issue by saying "I'm just an actor, pay negotiations aren't part of my job" but he actually has a production company. As a producer, budgets and pay IS part of his job. I don't think he needs to negotiate for women, but, like Bradley Cooper said - openness and transparency will help. If Jennifer Lawrence and Amy Adams had known going in that they were paying Jeremy Renner more than them (even though both actresses are multiple-academy award nominees, and Jeremy Renner has zero noms and he had a smaller part) then they would have had at least a cause to stand up and demand more. The producers obviously aren't going to tell them that they're paying someone else more, so unless the actors share this info with each other, the women don't know they're being short-changed.
