Boring over here. He always has a banana and a bowl of Crispix. Sometimes on the weekends he gets an egg (which he never eats in any form) or toast with peanut butter.
B is on an oatmeal kick. I make it kinda thick so he can practice using a spoon too. And scrambled eggs with cheese. He also likes bagels with strawberry cream cheese. I usually serve him some yogurt with whatever he's eating. And I fill him up at breakfast- if I don't he starts whining for a snack the second I unclip his booster
For those who serve oatmeal do you put anything in it?
Most of the time if i give J oatmeal i give him Gerbers Lil Bits. It has more texture than the baby oatmeal and it also has bits of fruit in it. (I give him more than the serving suggests bc he loves it.) Hes also had some of my steel oats which normally has a little brown sugar and milk.

Fresh berries and a drizzle of maple syrup. She usually prefers the baked oatmeal though, and my recipe has bananas and blueberries in it, with a little agave for sweetness.

mcbush - lately I've been buying fruit butters (pumpkin butter is *awesome*) to stir in to the oatmeal. Before that it was brown sugar and raisins. Occasionally maple syrup.
One thing Pierce loves is 'banana pancakes.' I'm not sure of the correct name, but you mash up a whole banana (doesn't have to be really ripe) and mix in two eggs. And then you cook them like pancakes. I usually get 3 out of one batch and Pierce eats them all. They are good with cinnamon sprinkled on top too.
