UPDATE!
Posted from "BumpAdmin" on the HQ page:
The Bump community boards are a place for women and men to share their hopes, dreams, opinions and concerns. It's also a place to find support and advice from others who are on this incredible journey of building a family. We are grateful for the community members who have joined for the right reasons, and we publicly thank all of our members who genuinely and sincerely connect with other parents-to-be and new parents through our community. It saddens us that some people in the community have recently been exhibiting behavior that goes against our Terms of Use, such as posting pornography, using malicious profanity, and sending harassing posts. There's no room for this type of behavior on a site board that celebrates babies, the joys of parenthood and everything in between. Those in the community who were making it a negative and antagonistic environment for others , and broke the Terms of Use, are in the process of being replaced to ensure our community remains true to the tenants of its foundation.
We are aware that a few "bad apples" that were removed from the community are trying to send negative messages about our brand. In their attempts they only demonstrate why they were removed in the first place. We know that our valued members, audience, clients, partners and advertisers will recognize their misinformed and misguided behavior as meaningless. The Bump remains vigilant in maintaining the integrity of its values, and its mission to provide the best pregnancy and parenting content, tools, services and community.
We built The Bump for you. We put you first, and that means doing everything we can to ensure a supportive and welcoming community.
Are you freaking kidding me? So that is their official response to the 400+ reviews and 3k+ people who jumped ship yesterday. This is beyond ignorant and really bad pr.

Welp, mystery solved. Bump HQ is now where to go to air your grievances and attempt to get clairification on the recent events, per ANOTHER posting on by BumpAdmin... BUT... I can't seem to figure out how to post a thread... interesting... Anyway, this is the new post:
We want to do our best to respond to the outstanding questions and comments you have regarding the changes to the Guidelines, and the subsequent actions taken.
We ask that you keep the discussion respectful. Any comments that are vulgar, inappropriate, or offensive will be removed. Please be patient, we *are* trying to hear and respond to your concerns.
If you posted in another Message Board regarding this topic, we are in the process of moving your discussion to this message board, to help keep track of the conversation.
In the meantime, thank you for your patience as we work to resolve the situation!

I honestly am beginning to realize this was yet another last ditch effort to get page view revenue. The HQ thread is now up to 3 pages in less than 30 minutes, and no sign of Admin, BumpAdmin, BumpMay or otherwise... The media (huff post, TMZ, etc) has been mentioned as being notified, I swear to baby jesus, if I see this on TMZ in the coming days, this pregnant chick might just piss herself.
Also, I've seen mentioned that their stock prices have plummeted? Can anyone verify this?

Stock pieces are down but it's a normal flux. It's not plummeting.

This is their BS "answers" to our questions... and for them to ask people who have requested their accounts be deleted to C&P every single URL of everything they've ever posted makes me laugh, in a maniacal way...
BumpAdmin said: In response to @stebnie & @keenebride2015:
1) why the bannings? We know the answer isn't TOU. We would prefer if you just said "egregious internal mistake" Banning happened because of actions taken, some you were privy to, and some you (as the community) were not. We readily admit it *should* have been handled better, and for that we are sorry. We hear you, and we're changing.
2) why no warnings first, as were outlined only two months ago. If you argue there were warnings, we'd like to see evidence. If you say tech glitch prevents showing, so help me... This is something we *will* change. It was, to your point in #1, a mistake in communication. You've spoken, and we're listening.
3) why can't we have content deleted on request, as was policy as recently as two days ago. This is something we DO want to change. Yes - if you request content deletion, we do want to comply. It's not because we "don't want to help you" - please trust us on that.
Someone started a "remove" post in this board earlier. If you want to be removed, or content removed, please share there URLs to your content that you want removed.
skinandbones and @jhalula09 it's because they are trying to use Bump HQ to move all threads related to one place. Erase it from the other boards so newbs don't see what's going on and keep track of all future bans.

I can't believe they moved the light a candle/loss thread from June15 to BumpHQ. That seems incredibly insensitive. It links back, but it just shows up at the top of BumpHQ as having no responses. It seems so calculated, like they're using the work done by those bumpies to seem like they care.
Omg so many pages. Non-answers abound. Is bm really gone? No direct answer. I don't believe a thing they say.
Just went through the whole thread and I don't either. They're in full-on damage control mode, giving cookie cutter corporate answers. Ugh...will be looking forward to more updates!
