I thought we could create one thread to update how appointments go this week. It sounds like a lot of us have them this week (and really probably most weeks after this!)

Mine's Thursday afternoon. I don't know why, I am just feeling so blah about it right now. I am so afraid of allowing myself to get invested in this pregnancy only to have it taken away. ::kicks rocks::
First things first, baby is measuring just about right on track at 7w2d. There was a strong beating heart that the doc estimated to be 160-180 bpm. I can stop holding my breath for a little bit now!
This was the first time at this new practice for me and I really loved it. It's a large group practice so I'll see a bunch of different OBs and MWs, but the OB today was great. I told her about how sick I've been so far and my experience being so sick for previous pregnancies. She had absolutely no problem writing me a prescription for zofran. I told her I would do my best to only take when I was really really sick. Then she said "why? We're not giving out medals here to see who can tolerate the most vomiting. If you need it, then you need it. It's a completely safe medication, and I wouldn't prescribe it if it wasn't."
That made me feel so much better because I know how well that medication works and I just can't stand the thought of being a shell of myself while dealing with really bad MS.
I schedule my next visit and NT scan for 12/14. I'm just so happy!

Great update from me this morning! I had my first OB appointment. I didn't have an ultrasound but we were able to find baby's heartbeat and it was perfect in the 160s. I was so thrilled I teared up a bit in the office. Had an exam and a pap and doc says everything looks great. I'm just waiting for blood work now. So yay! I'm actually pregnant!!!

Had my first OB appointment today. I'd already had a viability ultrasound with my RE so I didn't get one. Kind of wish I'd neglected to mention the RE ultrasound and tried to sneak in another one Instead I just had to go through the endless medical history and I got a binder of pregnancy facts. It's funny, with all my PGAL stress, I feel like I'm forgetting to be nervous about the actual baby. My life is about to change, I'm about to go through one of the most physically and mentally taxing times of my life, but I never make time to think about that because I'm so focused on whether it is going to happen at all.
Hey all! My first OB appointment was awesome. My pap was done earlier this year so I got to keep my pants on. I got a ton of blood taken. And we got to see the bean & hear the heart rate (171). Our coffee bean is measuring right on target and everything looked good. We got to see him wiggling & when she was trying to get a profile picture he turned his back as if saying, "not today fools!" She also switched to 3D view, so we got a little preview of those scans. We decided to skip the NT screen, so my next appointment will be at 14 weeks.
Last but not least, here are some pictures of the nugget: Alien baby!!!
