Yes not sure if too many are showing yet but it sounded like there was a handful. I had a rough day with ds yesterday and I woke up feeling refreshed. Today is going to be a good day! Especially if I get to see a bunch of cute belly bumps!
Where do you take your hdbd photos? I remember reading about someone needing to clean their bathroom. I'm too short to take one in my bathroom mirror. Mine will always be in ds's room because that's where the full length mirror is located. I fail at taking bump selfies.

I won't be posting because mine is still blump not bump. I'm a FTM at the end of the month so that makes sense. But I know some of us are nearly 17 weeks! I would lovetit the shit out of some HDBD pics if people were into taking them!

Haha, I just took my very first "bump" photo and it's kind of comical. I think I'm going to keep it to myself this week. I'm 15 weeks but basically only a little thick around the middle. I just look like I gained 10 pounds (even though I'm actually only up about 2 pounds). I want to see everyone else's cute bumps though!
I left for work today without packing breakfast. So I decided I would stop at the gas station to get something. Then I went to get my wallet and realized I also left home without my purse. I had DH's car (which is why I was all out of sorts) and luckily he has a nice pile of change in there that I helped myself to.

Anyone else experiencing "pregnancy congestion"? I swear I feel like I've been sneezing nonstop for months and it's getting worse. I don't normally have allergies. I don't have a cold. It's annoying because it triggers round ligament pain every time I sneeze.

Yes. It is the worst. I am so stuffy and it runs down my throat and is constantly in my mouth. I think this is one of the reasons I am so sick, because the mucus in my throat makes me feel disgusting and awful.

Yes! I feel like my nose is running constantly...And it hurts every time I sneeze!
I woke up with a stuffy nose/head and sore throat. Word on the street is that this cold is traveling around our school and is on the mild side. I CANNOT BE SICK OVER BREAK. I also do not want DS to have a cold on top of teething on top of an 11+ hour car ride on Monday.
Hey everyone! I took a bump picture last night but my bathroom is seriously disgusting. I looked at my 16 week pic from my DS and my stomach was still completely flat at this point and I got pretty big at the end, so now I think I'm going to get huge with this one!
I need to make lots of Christmas desserts today for my husband's work party and our family Christmas this weekend. I'm doubling the recipes so it shouldn't be too crazy, but it'll be a ton of baking. I made the Oreo balls last night and our kitchen was a disaster zone!
Morning ladies! I just had a quick appt to hear the heartbeat and everything sounded great - nice solid hb in the 150s!
I'm all about doing a hdbd thread. I'm a STM and short, so there's a definite bump. I'm public already but people who don't know are starting to give me looks, so I think it's fairly obvious.
txmommy14, I've heard the opposite, that STMs tend to get bigger faster because things are already 'stretched out' so to speak. Then things sort of level off toward the end. Who knows though! I showed pretty early with DS too but I'm 5'2" on a tall day so there isn't a whole lot of room for things to move.
I also got very annoyed when went public because several people did the whole, "We've been wondering when there would be another one, it's about time!" Gosh, so rude and insensitive, especially because I alluded to the past year with the loss and everything else going on. I'm sure I've been insensitive to someone back when I was clueless and naive and didn't realize that maybe it's none of my darn business, or maybe that they'd love to start/keep growing their family but are going through some difficult times.

txmommy14, sorry people were so insensitive. Some people don't have a freaking clue. And I have heard the same at soultrane, that you get bigger faster but don't tend to get bigger overall. Of course everyone is different, but I am holding onto the hope here

I get it most when I sleep. I wake up with my mouth open all the time because I can't breathe easily out of my nose.

People really don't think. I'm sorry you had to hear insensitive comments. I had the same experience when I posted on facebook. I made it fairly obvious that we had had a loss (I mean, the ornament we used to announce has an angel baby on it and I alluded to our difficult journey to get here, etc.) and somebody commented with "It's about time!" I ended up ignoring and then eventually deleting her comment because I didn't want that reminder, but I really wanted to scream at her. People suck.
soultrane, That's so rude! I felt the same way like, "UH, did you even READ or look at my post? Or are you just that insensitive and clueless?" I'm glad you deleted that comment. I got teary eyed before I posted it because I was just remembering the pain of seeing other announcements and being in the place I was in most of 2015 and not wanting to hurt anyone.

I've mentioned the friend of mine that struggled from IF here before, and when she announced her pregnancy, she got a million, "I hope it's a girl this time!" comments. People just don't think before they speak. Oh, it took me three years to get pregnant, but yeah, if it doesn't have a vagina, I guess I'll send it back. Right.

I hate those comments anyway. I don't understand the thought that a family isn't complete unless they have kids of the opposite sex. Maybe I'm biased because I grew up with a sister, but I never felt our family was "incomplete" because I didn't have a brother. I think it's just such a weird idea and I don't get why so many people are concerned about it.

People saying insensitive things is one of the parts about announcing that scares me the most... Like, I tried really hard for a really long time for this baby, don't minimize this pregnancy for me! But at the same time I'm trying to look at it as 1) people might be stupid but that doesn't mean they are bad people, and 2) it's my job to move past those stupid comments, because I know better than to let those people bring me down about something that has nothing to do with them. Doesn't mean those statements don't/won't hurt though.
txmommy14soultrane I'm really sorry for all the insensitive comments you've both received. Losses are the worst because even if people know, they never know how to react appropriately.

That is a really adult, kind, selfless way to look at it virginiaorjohn. I think you might be a better person than me.
I'm sorry for everyone whose dealt with shitty comments and had hard row to hoe to have these awesome babies. People have no idea what people experience and feel, and I think that the internet makes it easier (despite the wealth of knowledge) for people to be narrow minded in what they think and feel.

+1 Everyone at work thinks I've been sick for 4 weeks but if I actually was sick it wouldn't be just sneezing. Plus if I sneeze real loud it makes it hurt less on my abs, so I can be heard echoing thru the office.
Maybe this is more of a confession but I love hdbd cause we get to share our lovely lady bumps, but I also love seeing everyone's cute maternity wardrobes!
My company offers 10-min chair massages once per quarter and I just had mine. OMG. It felt fantastic and I also felt like I was gonna die at the same time. She had one pressure point so hard that my arm started to raise up involuntarily. Whew!
