Rejoice all! My baby both peed and pooped on the potty. The pooping is a big ass deal
Pooping is a big deal. DD pooped in the toilet several times and then stopped. She will say she has to go but then says "nothings coming out" before her butt hits the seat. I offer to let her poop in a pull-up since we had constipation issues with DS but she doesn't want to do that anymore either. This has resulted in many pointless trips to the bathroom, tummy aches, and pooping in her sleep.
I love being woken up at 1 am to change a pooopy pull-up.
Yea going from breastfeeding poops to solid poop freaked her out. Plus, she's in iron, so she's frequently constipated. So, any drama free pooping is celebrated.
We have the newest one Legend of the Neverbeast on preorder. I think it comes out in March. The kids keep asking when they can watch it.
humpty we haven't seen that one yet. I know Reese wants all the Tinkerbell playsets from the Disney store for it. It would be a perfect Easter basket gift--the movie and the playset.

Lalalalalalala going to pretend my kid will never want to watch these shows. Nope. She'll like "How It's Made" and "Property Brothers." It's gonna be awesome.
Actually tLex the fairy movies are pretty cute. The best was the other day, Reese was wearing tinkerbell wings, fancy gloves, a flashlight head lamp, and safety goggles. She was being a "tinker" fairy to fix all her toys.
Trust, there are WAY worse tv shows/movies that Reese has gotten hooked on.
I find that anything Disney is generally more tolerable than most other kids shows

It's Saturday morning, and I'm into a second day of a statistical meeting. I'm actually enjoying myself. Because coffee. Because free breakfast. Because statistics. But to be honest: mostly because I had night ALONE in a hotel room after a yummy dinner with a lot of wine last night.

I have a few business trips coming up next month and then again in May.. I'm trying really hard to feel bad that DH has to take vacation days to take care of DS, but really I am just looking forward to glorious nights spent all alone in a hotel room.. With a mini-bar..
Good morning! Still in bed. The toddler's laying here with me watching Netflix on her Kindle. I need to get up and start laundry so I can go downstairs and make breakfast. The grits are calling me!

I am here. Kids are fed and are playing. Drinking my second cup of coffee. I love coffee. I am pissed at DH still for going to this out of town party in a blizzard and not being concerned whatsoever of his wife and kids stuck at home or the fact that the roads will be shit when he attempts to drive home. The warning literally says travel in emergency situations only. We have had many words about this and he is not budging.
On a happy note I'm excited for a day of playing with the kids. I missed them this week.

I'm slamming my coffee and then headed to spin, followed by swim lessons.
We have a date night tonight which will involve eating too much sushi and drinking too much wine and conclude with awkwardly hugging the babysitter and being a weirdo in the drinking thread.
We've been up for a while and I sent MH to get doughnuts. G is still pathetic with his fever, but the pedi ruled out flu, ear infections, and strep, so it's just some sort of virus. I hate to see him so tired and feeling bad.
My sister is back in the hospital for bed rest with pre-e, so my mom and I are trying to figure out what we can get done before they induce. Not happy they're going to do it at 34 weeks, but I'm no doctor.
T&P for your sister! My nephew was born at 32 weeks via induction after a rocky pregnancy. Perfectly healthy just tiny!
ETA: andalso hope your little guy feels better! DD had something similar this week, took about 3 days to run its course

That sounds like a conversation we had this morning. Just switch out "Pirate Fairy" for "The Great Fairy Rescue"

I'm making A watch the Cesar Milan marathon that's on this morning. She also likes the Crocodile Hunter!

My sister and her H decided to come visit last night with my nephew. He's turning 1 this week! He's walking now and is destroying my house with a quickness. He is so adorable, I am feeling really sentimental about his birthday.
We have to figure out where to go today that will entertain both a 3.5 yo girl and a 1 yo boy...
We are going to see Paddington and do a big grocery run today. This week has potential to be crazy. One news station is calling for 5in of snow, another is saying just rain, my best friend is coming up, and depending on how my ob appointment goes Tuesday I may be induced Thursday. I'm full term today, yay!!!
M is sick and mad at me because I'm not babying her. Sorry kid, I've been sick enough times already this winter. Do not want another fucking cold I can't take anything for, and do not want to have to take days off if your sister gets sick. She's quarantined to her room.

Watching Sleeping Beauty while DH swaps the bedroom furniture between the guest and master. The guest set is better and we bought more dressers to match. We are going to try to merge our closets so when we have guests DH can access his clothes. RIP solo closet space.
H and I are going to look at a car in between his 2 jobs today so I actually have to get dressed St some point this morning but for mow I'm sitting and drinking coffee while A plays and E watches Ever After High
