I carry a purse every day. The diaper bag gets dropped off with DD at daycare and my purse goes with me to work. Right now I carry this one:
I love it. It was my birthday present last year from DH. It's big enough that I could throw a diaper or two and small wipes and a few things for DD if I'm making a quick trip somewhere, but usually on the weekends or evenings I use the diaper bag and I have a wristlet (instead of a wallet) with my cards and cash that I can throw in whatever bag I'm using.
So what do you all put in your diaper bags?? If we're going out for a couple hours, I bring diapers (they wear the same size), and extra onesie (that will fit either one of them), a small container of wipes, my Covered Goods nursing cover, a paci for Cy, and maybe a small container of snacks and a sippy for Junie. I haven't had a problem just sticking all that in my purse along with my wallet and other little essentials. Am I momming this all wrong??

I usually also put some small toys (tegu blocks, small books, rattle/teether, little people) some plastic bags, I also pack a bunch of snacks (fruit cereal bars, Cheerios) but aside from that is say the same at you. With new baby Id prob pack an A+A swaddle and some aquafor along with our wipes/diapers.

Obvious quote fail:
We always have diapers, wipes, diaper cream, a light blanket, a change of clothes, a sweater or light cover up (if she isn't wearing one already) the changing pad, a small bag of snacks, sippy cup and sippy connect thing so she can't throw it on the floor when we're out to eat, those plastic things that stick to the table that she can eat off of, the disinfectant wipes for things she throws on the floor, and the small tegu blocks, and then I throw in my keys, phone and wallet.
I'm an over packer. I do a full charge of clothes for both boys, diapers, Wipes, various medicines(Tylenol, benadryl , diaper rash cream) snacks for both kids, drinks for both and the odd assortment of hot wheels. And Tegu blocks.
I'm prob an over packer. I have diapers, wipes, extra pants because Qs diapers leak often. Snacks, burp cloth, emergency contact info, sippy cup, milk juice box, bottle, and usually some other random stuff that accumulates.
We've got a diaper or 2 for each, wipes, and a bib. There's a few toys that float around in the car that can grabbed if need be. With DS potty training, I try to remember a change of clothes and just keep them in the car too so I'm not lugging it around. Sometimes I'll have a couple of small books in my purse. DD is not interested in using sippys if we're out for dinner any more, so the only time they come along is if we're going somewhere like the zoo. Pretty minimalistic over here.

I sent my mom a picture of the lily - jade and said man if only it was $150 less... and she replied well your birthday is coming up (April). So maybe my mom and sister will get it for me
DH did say I could buy it if I wanted to but now I'm going to wait and see if I get it for my birthday!
