My sister is uber-crunchy and delays vaccines. My mother sdores my sister (she's the fav) so now she just posted some comment on fb about "don't judge other parents, blah blah blah" that linked to one of those emotional plea "my child had a terrible reaction to vaccines even though I can't confirm it bc I didn't take her to the doctor do I don't vaccinate anymore" blogs.
I just commented with an explanation of herd immunity and a "I won't judge unless your decision can kill my child which this one can". I may have just started a family war on facebook but I can't help it. This issue makes me so stabby.
What the actual fuck? There has never been any link between leukemia and vaccines. Where did he go tot school? He needs his medical license revoked asap. I am fuming about this.

Is it wrong to print this out and put it on a darboard?
He also thinks eating paleo will protect you from the same diseases vaccines protect against.
“I’m a big fan of what’s called paleo-nutrition, so our children eat foods that our ancestors have been eating for millions of years…. That’s the best way to protect.” (http://www.washingtonpost.com/news/morning-mix/wp/2015/01/30/amid-measles-outbreak-anti-vaccine-doctor-revels-in-his-notoriety/)

He said viruses — not vaccines — are a part of the natural world. "Unfortunately, they mean that some people get sick and some people die," he said. "But the reality is that we can't inject our children with chemicals."
Let's play a fun game, here. Let's pretend he was talking about any other harmful part of the natural world, rather than viruses. Here.
He said hurricanes — not storm shelters — are a part of the natural world. "Unfortunately, they mean that some people get injured and some people die," he said. "But the reality is that we can't stick our children in enclosed spaces."
He said parasites — not sanitation — are a part of the natural world. "Unfortunately, they mean that some people get worms and some people die," he said. "But the reality is that we can't wash our children's hands with soap."
He said bear attacks — not walls — are a part of the natural world. "Unfortunately, they mean that some people get mauled and some people die," he said. "But the reality is that we can't obstruct our children's view of nature."
He said terminal ignorance — not the preservation of knowledge for future generations — is a part of the natural world. "Unfortunately, this means that some people eat poisonous plants and some people die," he said. "But the reality is that we can't teach our children the stuff we've figured out."

He does realize our ancestors only lived like 30 years or so back then, right?
