theophania that's one cute little baby! I'm so thrilled for you!
flyakite, I had to get IV fluids once last pregnancy at around 12 weeks. I had been throwing up almost constantly for 24 hours and was unable to keep water down. I hope that you aren't experiencing this because it was miserable.

flyakite did you base your sleep training off of a book? I'm getting desperate over here! Most books I look at on Amazon seem to start at newborn/ infant stage and we're a 14 mos in.
I had a good night of drinking before both BFPs. Like PP said, most people don't find out until 6-8 wks, I was 4 w this one and 5 w DS.
FFFC: I let my 1 yr old watch TV in the morning. I justify it by telling myself that PBS is educational. He lives him some Sesame Street and Dinosaur Train!
From what I remember, and I could be wrong, there's no blood exchange between mom and embryo/foetus/ placenta until 6 weeks. So I wouldn't worry about alcohol in the very early stage.
I'm gonna enjoy a glass of champagne this weekend and then that will be it for me.
So today sucked. H has food poisoning, or a stomach bug, I think. He thinks it's anxiety because he had a panic attack after he started throwing up. In any case, we spent the whole night getting an hour or so of sleep at a time, and then most of the morning doing the same. So I spent the afternoon in bed watching TV.
Finally made him some soup for dinner and me some whole wheat pasta with some spaghetti sauce. Thank god it's Friday.

flyakite thanks for the info! I feel the same way about cio. Sounds like you guys are on the right track though! That's great that she's able to put herself back to sleep. Totally life changing! We still have to rock him to sleep then transfer him to his crib. Sometimes he gets up 2-3 times but he goes back down after we rock him again. Then up at about 5 and we bring him in bed. That's what I'm worried about when this baby comes or even when I'm uncomfortable and pregnant and need my big ol' pillow. Baby steps!
