M was such a handful yesterday. Full on tantrum in target. People were looking at me like I was beating him. Forgive me for taking away something he wanted. OMG it was soooo embarrassing

1. I am still traumatized by that stupid Nationwide commercial but looking up jokes about it on Twitter has helped somewhat.
2. Sometimes I wish that I could cook myself a separate dinner more often. DH really likes me to stick with the family meal game plan but sometimes I just don't want what's in the crockpot. I'm really driven by my cravings and it still becomes an issue now after 7 years of living together.
lioness13, I don't think I saw a response from Meg. Yes, we have cougars around here. I'm not sure how common they are in other areas of Canada, but in the mountains and foothills we tend to have quite a few sightings. They hunt deer and usually aren't a huge threat to humans, but as we saw this week, sometimes they will attack. Where I live there are usually a few sightings every year, once in a while it's near or in town, usually on the wooded walking trails. We've never had any human attacks, but people do lose livestock to cougar attacks once in a while. We are more likely to see more lynxes around here than cougars, and they don't seem to cause as much trouble.
So my h just texts me: he's threatening to quit and he got hit by a car this am. He's ok and will call me after work tonight so in 8hrs I might actually know what the fuck is going on.

Wth! Hope everything is ok and you figure out what the heck is happening!

OMG my eyes just bugged out of my head. He's still working after getting hit by a car?
Yeah, this. I will be eagerly counting down the next eight hours, because holy crap!
As an aside - the bunny pictures are just killing me with cute!!!! Keep on the posting!
We used Dr. Brown's bottles. Make sure you read up on paced bottle feeding. Amelia never took more than 4 Oz at a time and she stayed on a level 1 nipple the entire year.

To everyone who asked for a recap of last week's spam:
There are too many sick kiddos. Give hugs to subliminalrabbit and limabeanmom, among others. Don't look up a Nationwide commercial unless it involves Mindy Kaling. Lots of people are trying to become regs.
I have to work! And pack! And drop off my LAST RENT CHECK TO THESE JERKS! For those of you keeping score, this check has "f" in the notes line. Adding them all up from August, the notes read "twatwaf."
Also, to add to my awesome day of being sick, stuck in the apartment with a sick toddler. Four cases of measles in my city! Awesome.
Anti-vaxxers?
I'm telling you, if that Nationwide commercial had been about a kid who died of measles, I would have applauded them for their massive balls. (And I still would have been shocked, but at least they would have had balls.)
limabeanmom, you said the hospital bottle worked for Y? Do you know what kind they were using and if you could get some of those nipples?
Good luck with the doctor today!
I think it was the similac ready made formula bottles...don't know if I can get them or if its only a hospital thing and don't know of anyone about to have a baby.
Thanks I am going to need it!
If it's the individual ones that come pre-packaged, we got some from our pedi at follow up appointments. I also saw them sold at BRU. They fit onto the Medela bottles and Dr Brown's. B liked latex nipples (slow flow), so we ended up using the Playtex bottles after trying out a bunch.
