DD1 has started to act out the past few days. It has been horrible. She is making messes all around the house. She is refusing to nap and waking up at night multiple times. I feel like I have 2 newborns to take care of. So tired and running low on patience. Ugh. When is the adjustment phase over!? (For the older sibling)

It took about a month in a half or so to adjust for all of us. Every now and then she'll pull this behaviour and I'll realize Ive been more focused on DS or we haven't been outside enough to burn energy.

I wish we could go outside. I'm so over the winter snow!!!

@babylentilbean we have a ton too. We don't go outside in less than -10/-15. Otherwise I bundle up DD and put DS in the car seat with his coulou (no hat just normal clothes or he'll sweat) on a sled. Then I watch DD stumble around like a drunk Michelin man and play in the snow with a shovel, or try to pull DSs sled. She falls a ton so I end up getting a weigh lifting workout in lol. It tires her out and DS immediately falls asleep. Win win!
RandomName, once DD's boot cast comes off I think I will take her out to play in it. I have a snow suit for DS2 so he will stay warm. We are actually expecting a blizzard this Monday. Yay us! (Sarcasm...was it obvious?)
@babylentilbean Oh right, damn I forgot about the cast. Sorry. I think baby brain has its hold on my pretty tight this time around. I can't remember anything lately. I didn't realize I was so forgetful until a few things happened today and now this.

No worries, I posted about long time ago. Luckily, she only has a week and a half left.

Ahh that is a long time!! We are going to introduce bottles in a week so then I'll be able to take DD1 out by myself for outings. I'm hoping this will help her behavior. I think we both miss getting out together.
Can I play? I love the idea of this thread and look forward to gaining knowledge from ladies who are currently dealing with 2 LOs.
1. How far along are you? 25 Weeks, 6 Days
2. Age gap between kids. 25.5 Months
3. How is your M14 toddler doing with the changes? I think he is oblivious to what is about to happen. When we ask where baby is he will lift my shirt and give my belly a kiss, but I don't think he gets it. A few days ago my friend brought her 2 month old over and he was able to interact. He was very excited and interested. I think he is going to smother DS2 with tons of love.
4. What are you currently struggling with? Tons of temper tantrums and limit testing. He will throw himself on the floor anytime he doesn't get his way. He will also throw his toys and food. Also as a SAHM I am struggling with ideas on how to constantly keep him entertained.
5. Share something new that your kid(s) are doing? He is also starting to explode in the language department. He has now said 2 clear as day 3-word sentences. I have been shocked each time. It's crazy to think that clear communication is right around the corner.
6. Questions/advice? Or anything you want to talk about? Not yet, but I'm sure I will have many once DS2 gets here.
