Morning! I'm so glad that temperatures are above zero finally! We are going to venture out to the grocery store and maybe walk around a bit in the snow.
Starting getting hives last night for no apparent reason, blah. I decided to stay home today to rest and work a bit from home. I had a 2 hour nap this morning, it was glorious! I'm going to enjoy having the house to myself.
The nausea is kicking in with a vengeance! Noooo!!
I had to tell the judge I work for about my pregnancy much earlier than I'd hoped because I had to run out of the courtroom yesterday to puke. Not a fun start to the week.
It's just below 40 degrees here today, but it's sunny so it feels warmer.
I did just have to escort someone off our floor. They are remodeling the floor above us and we keep getting contractors from that floor on our floor. Sometimes they're checking to make sure they didn't cut power for us or something, but sometimes they just come down here to use our bathroom. They're not supposed to be on our floor without an escort. I've asked our building manager to cut off their access to our floor completely, but somehow they keep ending up here.

Boo nausea danielle! Mine has gotten worse the last day or 2 and it's no fun. Sorry you've gotten to actually getting sick.
That sounds really annoying pismoduo. If everything is card access it should be really easy to disable their access to your floor. Sounds like someone is just being lazy.

sodapop I got random hives last pregnancy. Apparently the hormone changes can trigger an allergic reaction. Can't hurt to bring it up at your next appt though.

Warning: the general subject of pregnancy loss lies ahead.
Bless her, my best friend decided she should be super duper reassuring about how everything is fine! And the baby is totally fine! I don't need to worry about anything!
Except that I wasn't worried. I am aware that something could be wrong without me knowing yet, but I feel good about this pregnancy and in the absence of any truly worrying symptoms I'm just trusting my gut. What else can I do until I get in for an ultrasound? But now that she's put it on my mind, I definitely had a nightmare last night about going to my appointment tomorrow and finding out we're losing the baby.
I love her, but sometimes she needs to stop talking and listen.

Makes sense, I usually get hives when I get sick, I'm a weirdo. I was thinking it was pregnancy induce. Thanks for the confirmation I've had hives all my life, so I doesn't worry me. I'll bring it up with my MW though.

Yea, I'm 90% certain they just gave these guys an all access card instead of limiting them to their floor, and now they're just too lazy to change it. I keep hearing that they'll be done in 2-3 weeks, but who knows. It's been a serious pain the whole time - loud banging, machinery, people on our floor, paint fumes. Can't wait until it's over.

Sorry your friend said that stuff thekatezombie. Did you let her know that while you appreciate her trying to be reassuring, that was not the right approach?
I'm kind of freaking out about this snowstorm that is going to hit us this weekend! DH is going to have to be at work so I am going to be stuck home with DS. I'm just praying the electricity doesn't go out! Well, I'm more so hoping that they're just wrong and we don't get that much. That has certainly happened in the past.

Same. I'm hoping if it does happen I'm home from work (I work Thursday night into Friday morning) because I'm terrified of being mandated to stay.
Hope you get some relief soon danielle Sorry about your friend, sometime people think they help but only make things worse thekatezombie Hope DD feels better soon callmeKD doodler the weather is never right for us about snow so hopefully it will be the same for you and it won't be as bad.
Crock pot people - recipes that can cook for like 8-10 hours? H and I both work long days and I'd love to use the crock pot more, but it seems like all the recipes I find lately are for like 4-6 hour time lengths.
Just tried the 3 bras I got for $16.99 each at VS yesterday that I didn't bother trying at the store and they all fit! Last pregnancy, I wore my regular bras with an extender until I gave birth.

I always recommend the recipes on skinnytaste. I love love her recipes. I generally don't pay attention to the hours on there. I just cook everything on low and I am gone all day just like you. The only problem I have run into is that leaner cuts of mean, especially pork will sometimes dry out but I have found that if the meat is sitting in a decent amount of liquid it is usually ok.

I think this is the problem with a lot of the chicken recipes I've used. If they're on for the full 8 hours the chicken gets really dried out. I'll have to check out skinnytaste!
Another thing I do all the time is to dump frozen chicken breasts, salsa, and taco seasoning in the crock pot. Then we eat it all week in burrito bowls, quesadillas, omelets, etc.
