Britax Child Safety, Inc., has decided that a defect exists in certain B-Safe 35 and B-Safe 35 Elite infant car seat models. In cooperation with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, Health Canada, and Transport Canada, Britax is conducting a recall. This recall involves a defect within the carry handle on the below listed infant car seats manufactured between October 1, 2014 and July 1, 2015. -
Britax has received reports of cracks developing in and around the carry handle grip on the above listed infant car seat models. If the cracks lead to the handle breaking, then the seat could be dropped, causing potential injury to the infant.
beepers I believe you have the same as me?? If you do, it wasn't the same model number. I plugged mine in and it said it was not a part of the recall. @justinslovo I know you have the same as I do.
Does anyone know if the model # is the same as the serial #? We have the B-Agile 3 / B-Safe 35 Travel system and I can't find a model #, only a serial # (which does not match any of the model #'s listed- it begins with S00 and was manufactured in July 2015).
