I've slightly enjoyed C being sick. She just wants to cuddle which has been so nice. If she wants down she just wants to read books. It has been a much loved break for this big pregnant lady.
I'm taking E to his grandparents after work so that he can spend the night there and then the day with them tomorrow till I get off work. I'm kind of looking forward to a night of sleep without a toddler or husband. (This probably means I will have the worst night of sleep ever.)

Don't psych yourself out and self sabatoge! Live it up! That honestly sounds really really nice.
My mom offered to watch the kids for a few hours. We decided to take advantage....by going to a laundromat. Yep. I'm washing clothes instead of going on a date.

I was all ready to love tit this until I saw laundromat.

At least this saves me from doing a bajillion loads tomorrow. It's all getting done at the same time now. I really need to purge some clothes.

We've decided on a theme for DDs 2nd Birthday, Lion King!!! I was leaning towards Doc Mcstuffins but I Really wanted something different but still something she liked and she loves the Lion Guard.
I kind of think of hard to find/different themes as like my personal crafty challenge.

I ended up sleeping great, but I had to grocery shop after taking him over there so I wasn't rolling into the house till after 9:30 (which Pre-Baby Me would say that's early! Post-Baby Me says WTF woman, that's freaking late, we're going to bed soon!) It was totally nice not to have to chase after a toddler while getting ready for work today.
littlemissmarla , I salute you! I don't want to event think about E's birthday party till like...June, maybe July.
My mother told me yesterday my grandfather wants the whole family around for his 80th birthday. His birthday is the day before DD's so no 2nd birthday party to plan for me since we'll all be together for him! So much easier. We'll just grab a small cake and put up some balloons on her day while the whole family is still together and call it a day. Maybe we'll even do it combined with his party if he's ok with that.

I need to top last years party.
Also... It needs to be Disney. Always.
My enthusiasm or motivation for parties wanes greatly after the first birthday. Or maybe it's after having the twins. I still put effort into it, but not going to lie I am relieved that we live our if state this year and I don't have to socialize, or put a lot of effort into anything.
We'll probably just go somewhere fun for them and maybe have a theme cake (buttercream transfer: either Minnie Mouse, Hello Kitty, or Daniel Tiger).

One of my missed life goals was to be an event planner so Birthday parties are my only creative outlet for that haha! I'm sure with more than one I can see being over it!

Lol. I think I am going to do Minnie Mouse so I can just buy all the things this year.
I guess my FFFC birthday party deal is that I'm probably going to do a "Material Girl" theme for N. She is obsessed with jewelry, baubles, shoes, etc (even though she is already showing signs of being a tomboy).
