fem , jwinct , I think it's funny that the LT today is "would have a drink for you". Lol.
I noticed that, too, and chuckled. I look forward to being able to have my own drink in October!
Shudder.....major alcohol aversion so even the thought of it is awful. But at least it didn't last long last time, we had champagne in the hospital room the night DD was born.
Thanks WittyLittle, it's just this once that I have to do this. Usually I get to sleep as much as I want my first day of night shifts. For some reason this class just had to be on a Friday morning. At least I didn't stupidly pick up any shifts like I did last week.
My "week" is just getting started. I work weekend option (I'm an RN), so I work pretty much every weekend. I have to go into work tomorrow morning for a class of sorts, then I come home and sleep for a few hours, and then I go work all night. I have been so tired that I have no clue how I'm going to battle the exhaustion.
I'm an RN too! I was always a day nurse and just switched to nights. What a tough schedule

It's tough, but I prefer it to days right now. When I'm on day shift, I don't get to see DD. If I work multiple days in a row, then I don't see her for multiple days. I miss her so much. So, I went to straight nights so I could have time with her.
