Congrats to your little! What did ya do?!
Ditto on the nausea *passes out ginger candy among the crowd*
Also, Poldark is another great show if you're an Outlander Fan!!!
I bought the first book, but I'm all caught up in reading all the Outlander books again that I'll probably never read it. Maybe I'll check out the show instead... if I can ever pull myself away from my books. LOL
Poldark is great and a quick show to watch. I definitely recommend it
Are there any good Outlander audios? I would love to read the book myself but sadly have more time to listen due to my commute.
Oh Hai, are we talking about Outlander? Why yes, I've read the entire series three times (H has read it twice). Currently listening to MOBY on audiobook again. Would highly recommend Audible (amazon's audiobook service) for all things audiobook! I believe you can do one month free, then cancel, and then they offer you 3 months at half price- do this option
Is the speaker on the audio good? Thanks for the rec, I'll check that out when I get home later tonight as an option for next week's commutes. If I had a Prime membership, is it included?

Some people love her. I will just say...she's not how I envisioned Claire's voice to sound, but after a few thousand pages you get used to her as with most audiobooks. And I've heard that Davina Porter is better than the other person who does some of the outlander books, and Gabaldon loves her. Unfortunately prime doesn't cross over into audible.

I am so psyched that there are so many Outlander fans here!! I'm only on my 2nd time reading the series. It takes me forever to get through them, even though all I ever want to do is read them.
Well, Hulu is trying to get me to come back. I apparently never updated my credit card info after I lost the card and we put hulu on hold around the same time. They're offering to give me 2 weeks free if I update my info. We stopped paying for it because we just weren't using it.

I tried hulu for a bit too, but ended up never using it. DH and I canceled our cable about a year ago and it was the best decision ever. Now we pay for HBO Now and Netflix.
While we're on the topic of book/tv show fans....any one else a Game of Thrones fan? We had a pretty big following on the GKU board. I, for one, can't wait for April for season 6.

DH introduced me to GoT back in like... wow 2006? I read the first four books, but by the time Dance of Dragons came out, I had forgotten too much of the books to keep on with the series. I tried to get into the show, but it was too much violence for me. I know, the books are full of it, but it's different watching it and I just can't.
untaggablekatie, YEEEEESSSS to Sherlock. I wish we didn't have to wait another year for Season 4. That special was just a trolling tease.
I was a hardcore Whovian through Doctor Eleven. The ending of that last season of Matt's was pretty poor so I sort of lost interest. But I still love before then!

I started watching Doctor Who around 6 months ago, and I just started Matt's last season (season 7, I think). So sad to see this comment

I liked Matt's last season and after I got over the shock, I've really decided I like the current doctor. He's different. Very different.

It's not the last season - I LOVE the last season. I just... that last episode was some of the worst writing yet. Reminded me of the Christmas special with the Titanic and the angels. Bleh.

I don't really remember anything awful from his last season. I guess I need to find a source and watch them again. But I was also commenting on the fact that I DID NOT like the current doctor at first. I got over it and I really liked it after a couple episodes, though.

It's all on Netflix here! Do you guys have it too?
I consider myself a Whovian! However, we have no TV other than Netflix and Shomi and about 5 antenna channels, so I can never watch it until Netflix is updated.
I saw and loved the first two season of GoT, but same thing... We have no source for it. DH had a coworker who was going to get us more but he never did.

Huh. I thought they just took it off of Netflix. If not, I guess I've found my new show to binge.
yes to GoT - excited for the season to start (April I think?) yes to TWD! Sad that I work sunday. Anyone a John Oliver fan? I think he starts back up on sunday too.
oh and I must mention - Jane the Virgin, love it. And Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt will be back soon too! (I swear I'm not *incredibly* lazy)
piccyami I just confirmed, it's still on Canadian Netflix! Hopefully it's on yours too!
I checked a few days ago. They took it off this month, and it is still off. I have been watching off blurays borrowed from a friend.
Weird... Though now that you mention it, I seem to remember hearing BBC pulling a lot of its stuff from Netflix. Must have affected American Netflix and not Canadian.
How excited are you for this weekend's return of TWD, untaggablekatie!?!?
I am not who you asked but I am a HUGE TWD fan and I cannot wait for tomorrow!!! DH and I are planning to order sushi to go and watch as our Valentine"s Day date.
