Waiting for my doctor today and 2 ladies that came in after me were taken ahead of me. I wasn't early, so it couldn't have been earlier appointments. Trying to be gracious and give the benefit of the doubt, but 2 getting in ahead of me when I need to get back to work is a bummer.

I took C to toddler time at the library and she was definitely too young. We stayed for baby time and she's definitely gotten to old. WTF library!! What am I supposed to do on Monday mornings now??

I took dd to a toddler music and movement class this past weekend at our library and she was def a little young for it. They will get there!

Hopefully they were there for another reason and seeing different doctors! Hope you get in soon!

Since I have some time to kill, here's a collage from the circus this weekend.

So far L knocked the stand that the sound bar is on over and while picking that up he spilled my coffee on the sub woofer. Oh and I cleaned the carpets yesterday so now I have to clean it again.

Still all sick. I think we may be rounding the corner though (knock on wood). So tired. Brain no work. I mean, really... Brain no work.
Soreness from weaning is annoying (I was only nursing once a day, quit a week ago I think). Hormones are definitely in flux, my normally dry hair is all sweaty and wet feeling... not even oily, like wet :/ makes me want to wash it twice a day.
I need to adult but can't. My voice is messed up, so I'm using that as an excuse to skip making phone calls today.
I went bra shopping last night, ughhhh. I was a size 40 DD, I went up to a 40 I/J while BFing the twins. I took a measurement last night (used BreakoutBras guidelines) and it said I need a 42 K- wtf. I tried on a few bras at Cacique and left with a 42F that seems to fit. Between brands and styles, bra shopping is such a crapshoot. I hate it.
I'm so frustrated. DD has been unhappy unless she's being held or on the boob. I feel like I'm not getting to spend any time with my other kids. I can't even put her down so I can eat. I'm so over this newborn thing.

Gas? When dd was a newborn she would get these terrible gas pains. Nothing would sooth her. Little Tummies gas drops were like a miracle worker.
It was ok. We took the subway there so he was excited about taking the train. You could go down to the floor before the show and they had perfomers and clowns and a bounce house and they even brought out one of the elephants, but he seemed a little overwhelmed by it all. He was more into the person in the chick fil a cow costume (apparently they were a sponsor). Took him to our seats since he didn't want to be on the floor and then he announced he was "done with the circus." Yep, sorry dude, hasn't even started yet.
The show itself was pretty good. I don't remember it being quite so choreographed with dancers and what not. Our city is the last stop with the elephants before they retire them, so that was neat. He definitely paid the most attention to the elephants and tigers, less so to the performers. The end was loud, too and when you ask him how the circus was, he just tells you it was loud. Overall, it could have been worse with complete meltdowns and what not, and we didn't have those, so I'd call it a win.

I took DD to daycare today so I could spend some time with the boys. We did Dunkin and this indoor play place that has slides/climbing structures/trampolines/basketball hoops. They had a blast.
ETA: This was more in response to "where is everyone" than a MBF, obviously.

I would really use or get a wrap. DD was fussy and lived in the wrap as a newborn.

I have no life anymore. It consists of work and chasing after DD telling her "no" 100 times a day and watching her meltdown after each one. I can't even put sleep in there some nights, for instance last night DD decided to scream for 2 hours unless she was being held. Wouldn't even sleep in our bed. Just needed DH or I to hold her. I'm so tired and I miss being social. Here and my in person friends.
honeybee434 hugs. Some days I feel like all I do is say 'no' to DS and redirect his behavior. It's tiring, but then he'll go and do something cute and melt my heart. Maybe you can plan a date night with your DH or get some you time in over the weekend?
