My leaking washing machine. I don't know where to look and really don't have the time to sit and watch to try and figure it out either. I'm going to try to change the hoses from the ones that were already here to the ones we bought and hope that works. Otherwise, I will probably have to wait until the weekend to do laundry and am going to be so damn far behind!

Ugh, our heat pump. We just bought our house in August and even though the home inspection came back that it was fine, it cannot keep up with the cold weather- it's set to 64 at night and when I got up this morning it read 52. I have been wearing coats in the house for weeks and it makes me feel like a hobo. At least we have a wood burning fireplace... off to cook an aluminum can of baked beans over the fire, like a true vagabond.

Do you have a pan under it- like, the deep (2 inch) white kind made for washing machines? If you're near a Lowe's or Home Depot, they carry them and it might get you through the week. GL!

Do you have a digital thermostat? We used to have a heat pump and thought it was going out....turns out, DH didn't have the digital thermostat programmed correctly. Quick and easy fix!

I don't have one under it. I may see if DH can go to Lowe's on his lunch since he works right beside one. Thanks for the idea!

It is digital... we've checked it many times but it seems to be set correctly. We even had the power company come do a free audit of our house and they said the thermostat itself was fine (but at least we got 16 free lightbulbs out of them coming out to look).

A client that I had to tell to fuck of yesterday. She continuously brings her kid to therapy late and then gets mad at me as if I changed the schedule on her. This happens every 2 weeks and she causes a huge scene in my waiting room in front of other people. I told her that it was best that she took her child elsewhere for therapy and she has been blowing up my cell phone all morning. I won't answer her calls or listen to her messages. Fuck off lady.

There was a setting that our HVAC guy had to go in and change for us (we could have probably done it, but had him out in case there was something else). Something about an emergency heat setting. Make sure that is set.

The master bath tub, for leaking through to the basement over the weekend - FINALLY a plumber is coming today. I really hope he doesn't make the TW list.
My husband, who when I called to report the good news results from the Panorama said, "that doesn't mean anything, there's no reason to be happy." With DD our results were 1 in 3,000 and I was ecstatic. This time it's 1 in >10,000. I think that's something to be happy about, dick.
Today mine is the weather. Every time I step outside, it rains/snows. It was sunny when I left my house to walk to the store and the post office. Within minutes, I'm drenched. I go into a building to carry out my errands. I step outside, and it is clear again, for a few seconds. FU, weather. FU.
Today mine is parents who can't answer a proactive email that I personally send to them, but when I send a mass email to the whole team, then these same parents get all upset that I didn't consider their schedules/issues. Read ALL of your emails parents! It would make you a lot less frustrated.
4 of my students. I get you are seniors and you hate your morning classes, but it's an easy class. Just do the damn assignments on time and in class and you will be fine. I don't GAF if you fail because you are too damn lazy and social do get your shit together!
Public transportation, which is still dealing with all the snow. My 45 min commute took an hour and a half. And most of it was on stopped, crowded buses and subways. They should also be extremely grateful that I didn't barf all over them.

Stupid tire. I have to put air in it before I go get my hair cut and it's cold and raining. Grrrr. Of course, asked H, who had the car yesterday, if he would please put air in it on his way home from work so that I didn't have to deal with it. That, did not happen. So annoyed.
The apartment complex we're looking at. It is my favorite so far, perfect location, amenities, price, etc. But they don't allow spitz dogs??? I've never heard of that restriction and I've been renting for almost 10 years now. Pits, dobermans, shepherds, yes (even though I think they're all bs), but a 26 lb fluffball??? What are they worried, he might suffocate someone under his fur or lick them to death?

My mom's coworkers (who are my coworkers, too, since we work in the same building, but different departments). She told them she was going to be a grandma and they all keep asking if the baby was an accident. Seriously? Because apparently they refuse to believe I could possibly want a kid... thanks guys, but I actually planned for this baby.

DH is on my SHIT list today. Anyone else have a husband with issues sticking to a damn budget?
Oh, and not being honest about it. I found a receipt in his pocket for something expensive he "borrowed" from someone at work but actually bought at the store behind my back. Worst part, we talked about him buying said item, and he agreed it would wait until the renovations were done, but he could get it right after.

DH why do you think it's ok that I do everything around the house. I washed all the laundry yesterday empty baskets are in all bedrooms and the bathroom. Why are your clothes in the floor?

My car. I had difficulty starting it this morning but figured it was just cold. I go to start it again after dropping DS at day care and the damn thing won't start. Luckily, day care provider's husband was able to give me a jump.
I have my company car getting a state inspection so I may have another here in a few.
Business who just don't respond to donation requests for my charity ball silent auction. At least have the courtesy of sending a no. Also, don't say no, say yes!
Can I have two? So my friend asked me to take this stupid quiz. and I indulged because I don't want to argue about it.
Whatever, I gave in, anyway. This was my result. ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?!?!?
"Congratulations, the Old Wives say you're having a sweet bundle of girl! You likely experienced morning sickness, you have a pimple or two more than usual, and you're craving sweets. Go ahead and buy those tiny bows and the adorable pink onesie you've been eyeing -- your daughter deserves to go home from the hospital in style."
The guy across the street who just woke me up from a nap with "the Midwest Moan." That, for those not in the know, is the frustrated yelling and slamming of a car hood due to the car not starting, usually in the winter from below freezing temps and extreme weather. It's common around here in the Metro Detroit area because our economy is depressed due to the auto industry tanking, and everyone drives their cars into the ground. So, yes, I understand that you are having a bad day, but you, fine sir, are a twatwaffle.

Ugh that sucks! My step MIL asked DH and I the same thing! I was so shocked by the utter rudeness!

What I don't get about those questions is even if the baby wasn't planned, what does it matter?

Neither of my pregnancies were planned. Not ashamed.
I love DS and am SUPER excited for this LO, but If I had waited until I thought I was "ready" I probably would never have had kids. I never feel completely ready.
Luckily, changing BC did the decision making for us both times. Fate gave us the nudge, but we don't regret it
Edit. To the point, asking if the baby was planned is still totally rude and awkward.

Ugh. We're going to be looking for a place to rent for our move (which, and I know I've mentioned it a million times, will be right before or right after baby). We have two small-ish dogs and a cat and I'm petrified that no one is going to rent to us. It used to be that pets were just a matter of fees, but more and more places straight up don't allow them. It's one of the things that's keeping me up at night, even this far out.
