For you or baby? If it's for you wrap tightly with saran wrap you may get a few days if you keep it tightly wrapped. For DD I have been pureeing and freezing it in ice cube trays
In this particular instance, for me. So wrap and refrigerate or leave at room temp? I am obviously new at this.
If you leave the pit in the half you aren't eating it will last longer. A little lemon juice will keep it from browning as well.
ETA Refrigerate once wrapped or put in a plastic bag.
I don't understand people who create drama online. If there is a group with an established socia norm, why would you jump in screaming for attention versus just participating like a normal human being and actually get to know people? (For the record, this is kind of why I'm afraid to do anything other than lurk on parenting because I'm afraid I would come across like a crazy newbie. Pretty sure I'd be ok since I'm not one to start drama.. but still intimidated!)
From my own experience, it's super intimidating joining in with an established group so often you end up trying to be overly energetic and later overly defensive when people are understandably skeptical of you. Unfortunately, most don't know to respectably step in with introductions and to ease into conversation so they don't otherwise come off as a troll or catfish :/
Also, I requested they delete my account on TB yesterday since I'm not comfortable with the new TOU that say they own everything I post (including any pictures) and I just checked and its officially gone. Its kind of bittersweet... On the good side, at least I "met" all of you through them so it ends well!
I'm debating it. I don't want them owning my pictures but...bittersweet is a very good word for it.
Apparently farts become funny at a very young age. I was tickling dd after her diaper change, and she was laughing so hard she farted. Which made her laugh even harder.
James thinks all farts and fart like noises are funny. He laughed at one of MY farts when he was nursing and half asleep! I was like d"ude, srsly?" He was like "Ma, srsly"

can somebody tell me the email address to email to get my account deleted from TB? I requested it at least a week ago and all my stuff is still there.
When Jake grows up I hope he isn't as furry as dh.
Same. I'm not very hopeful though since DS already has a little dark hair on his back above his crack haha
DS is the same - he has a thick head of hair (which is awesome) but just like his daddy, he has hairy ears, a fluffy back already, a thatch right above his butt and hairy toes. DH is an ape and started getting a beard at about 11 years old. I love all his hairiness though and like nothing better than running my hands thru his hairy chest. It's so manly...yum! He paid a fortune to get his back hair lasered off and I was gleeful when it grew back!! Nothing can defeat that hair!
DDs ear infection is not clearing up and has spread to the other ear so now we're waiting for a stronger antibiotic. 10-15 minutes is a looooong time to wait when you have to poop.
What is he on? We're on Augmentin. Hence the diaper rash from hell.
Amoxo-clovil or something like that.? They recommended giving a probiotic but there was nothing at Rite Aid that was okay for babies under 1. And now I feel like mom of the year because I have to send DD to daycare anyway.

Fridge, it helps if you keep the pit in as well. Also oxygen turns it brown, so even when it gets slightly grimy looking around were you sliced it doesn't necessarily mean it's bad you can just scape that part off if it grosses you out.

I actually think that most folks do step in and handle it appropriately. Including the majority of us on this board. We're pretty welcoming and easy going. We don't do the "who are you" when someone adds something to the conversation. We might redirect or say, you need to intro but this board is really respectful. So when she comes up in here guns blazing, not only being disrespectful, but then giving us a "sorrynotsorry" apology and then continuing to create threads for her random thoughts and trying to jump into a conversation and community while simultaneously stating that she doesn't want or need Internet friends. We're just here to be her own personal Google apparently. I personally am not going to be interacting with her. Since she seems to think that we will all just chat about strollers and doctor Phil and tattoos while continuing to be disrespectful.
Also with the yeasty diaper rash: Lotrimin, a&d, desitin, and Maalox- put it on his terrible rash overnight and changed diaper twice and reapplied. It really took the redness out and took the bumps down.
I just can't anymore with the anti-vaccine propaganda. I try not to read it but a FB friend posted something last night and I clicked it thinking it was pro-vaccine aka the truth. Nope. Unfriended that person. I can't have garbage like that popping up, hurting my educated brain.
