dke2010 OMG. All the sorries. I thought I had it bad with my closest one being about 30 mins away!
Haha, I'm used to it! Everything is far away, except Walmart.
Same for me, or so I thought. Our nearest grocery store is a good 20 mins away. We do have a Walmart out that way too. But we don't ship there unless emergency.
Morning everyone. DH and I got up early, got Starbucks, and walked around the zoo for a good two hours in the sunshine. Started craving hot dogs, so we stopped by Five Guys on the way home and grabbed one each. It soooo hit the spot.
Gonna help my sister apply for some jobs over the afternoon, but not much else planned.
We went to Five Guys for lunch yesterday. SO GOOD.
We're on our way home from the party. I am exhausted just from watching. I also just unbuttoned my jeans in the car. The bloat is real, guys.
DS and I are outside enjoying the unseasonably mild weather, we just got back from a walk. It's supposed to rain later, so I'm getting him (and me!) as much outside time as possible while the sun is out.
I contemplated going to Sam's and then decided against it. DS has been getting up so early lately that it's dangerous to have him in the car late morning. He'll fall asleep for the 20 minute ride and then decide that that was a sufficient nap. It's not. For him or me.
I feel your pain. MH and I went out with DS, and he ended up falling asleep for 5 minutes on the ride home, despite our best efforts to keep him up. Apparently that 5 minute nap is sufficient, since he is now in his crib making Chewbacca noises while staring at his ceiling and playing with his stuffed bunny. I need him to nap. Ugh.
britta I totally have to be conscious of our morning plans too. DD will def fall asleep in the car and if its over like 12 minutes, that's it for the day. It's so frustrating!
Well I did get my little downtime which I spent reading which was so nice. And we did get a walk in. It was a little chillier than I expected but I'll take it. I'm hungry but not in the mood for much of anything except really specific things that are not options. Even if I had then I bet I'd feel gross after two bites. We're trying salad and Turkey burgers but I have a feeling I'm gonna end up with cereal. DD is actually trying to put a diaper on her baby. It's the first time and it's the cutest thing! Hope everyone is having a good day!
