@sastahlman, I agree with others, double check into your states policy to turn off power in specific months, it might be completely illegal. Also ask to speak to a supervisor, don't stop until you speak with someone who will work with you because the entire situation sounds like BS.
That's what I was thinking too. Raise hell and see if that helps. That is bs.
I looked into it, and apparently the policy here is that you have to get a note from a doctor proving that you have a specific medical purpose for needing power. They give no fucks about children and pregnant women. All over one fucking day. I'm so annoyed. I've been trying to get the money refunded all day, and now it's past the time that I had to pay the bill, so I'm kind of just SOL and praying that they don't turn it off before the money hits my account. I don't get how some people can be so heartless. Like I said, we have never asked for an extension before, or had a problem paying our bill, and it's outrageous to me that the first time we do, they are unwilling to be helpful.
I should have said: that's the policy of the utility company. The only information that I've found thus far regarding NC policy is that you have to be 65 or older, or have a specific medical reason that requires power. Pregnancy and having children in the house do not follow under that I guess. Back to doing more research

I'm so PO'd for you. The whole situation is ludicrous, especially since you've been a reliable customer. I'd put a little more effort into fighting this, even after this bill gets sorted out.

Appt update:
So my appt went pretty well. Baby Logan looked great except one of his kidneys was full of fluid. The concern would be if there is a blockage of some sort. But the kidneys are supposed to fill and then drain so it could have just been the timing of things so he told me not to stress. I have a follow up ultrasound in 6 weeks. But overall I have a very healthy baby boy.
My bile acid test came back super low at a 4.2 so no ICP diagnosis. That means it went down since my 10.8 at 12 weeks. And my itching has decreased as well. So that's good. Bile acids in an ICP pregnancy can fluctuate quite a bit, so I'm not out of the woods yet, but I'm glad my acids aren't high enough to harm the baby right now. I'll request another draw at my regular appt in 4 weeks and go from there. The doctor I saw today was pretty ill informed with ICP as well but I'll figure out that mess once my BA result is high enough to cause concern.
Also I'm now measuring ahead by a whole week now, but he said he was still comfortable using my same due date based on my period.

lauranicole91 - that's awesome news for both you and Baby Logan! Keeping positive thoughts and prayers out there right now your next appointment goes just as great! At least you're able to rest easy until then.

Oh I forgot to mention some things! I'm officially a part of the anterior placenta crew! But little man is strong, because I have no issues feeling him and his kicks all day long. I didn't feel him until close to 20 weeks though. Also he is head down, so what I thought were swift kicks to my cervix are actually swift head butts to my cervix! Little bugger!
Sweet cream w/chocolate chips! The only thing I ever get there! Yumm. However, the CS I went to had big chocolate chips not the mini ones and they taste gross I'm currently spitting them out whenever I take a bite.
I always get the same thing too, coffee and chocolate mixed together with chocolate sauce. I wouldn't like the big chips either. DH brought home Coldstone one night that he just ahd to have a sub from this particular place. Well he brought me sweetcream and coffee. I was so disappointed. He's such a mama's boy he mixed my fav up with hers. I ate the coffee out of it and tried to avoid the SC.
Those both sound really good, but man my usual makes me feel like a fatty copmared to those 2-3 ingredients. I always get the "cookie doughn't you want some". It's loaded with cookie dough and chocolatey goodness. YUM
Where did you get the changing table reginaphalange ? It's exactly what I've been looking for as long as it's not too much money
viola We got it at Babies R Us There's the link to it! It was $99! I also found a coupon online for 15% if I ordered online, so I did and had it shipped to the store.
I am back on bed rest, also on Procardia and even more progesterone. My cervix is now opened to my cerclage and what I thought was just BH are actual contractions.
I am trying to read both boards and having trouble keeping up with everything. Hugs and T&Ps to everyone.

I am team no nursery, room sharing.
OMG! Are you at least able to be on bed rest at home? I hope you're doing okay! Is there a chance things will heal up a bit and you'll be taken off bed rest or are you pretty much in it until LO arrives? Hugs and T&Ps to you!!!
