If any of you lovely ladies ever see a gender neutral/boyish print preschool size kinderpack with koolknit will you let me know? It would need to be pretty well used/affordable. Pretty soon ds2 will be moving into backpack for hikes and I want a KP for when ds1 gets tired and wants to be carried. I know it's a long shot but if you see one let me know!
Search for The Babywearing Swap on Facebook. It can take some time to get approved but there are hundreds of sale posts and the used market is cheap. I don't really feel bad about churning because I've never bought new, so I'm pretty much just out a $10 price reduction and the cost of shipping and PayPal fees when I sell something. There are also brand specific groups - I'm in four Didy groups so I can stalk my wish list

I approved you! Had no idea I had that power until I did it!

I saw and thought, "wait don't I know her?" Lol
I also got approved to the swap group already and it's DANGEROUS
I have decided I'm not buying anything until I go to another BWI meet up to try out a few diff wraps. They're all so pretty but if it's going to be hard to actually do (and I keep reaching for the SSC) I don't want to waste my money.
It's a black Beco Gemini. The previous owner I bought it from sewed on the blue & black panel. I bought the drool covers (gray arrows) from Etsy seller MyCottageTime
Me (37) + DH (39) BFP #1: DS born July 2011 BFPs #2,3,4,5: Four losses from Nov 2013-Nov 2014. Yeah, that sucked. BFP #6: 1/5/15 - Rainbow baby boy born 9/16/15

How do you guys deal with floppy heads during back wrap napping? G has a big noggin and nothing I do seems to support him. So far I've been having MH help me get him down as soon as he's out but eventually I will put him on my back while I'm alone.
This is also a problem in the lillebaby, his head must be really heavy cuz the flip up support in that thing does not work if he's out cold.
Knitter lol I saw that and liked it, I think that might have been before I started putting IRL names together with TCF identifies!
ETA also I have no idea on the head thing. This happened to us on vacation and it freaked me out so much I couldn't let him sleep back there. That was the end of naptime
****loss and living child discussed***** We're queer. I'm 34, have severe stage 4 endo, and both fallopian tubes are gone. My love ("Manada" 33) was diagnosed with diminished ovarian reserve. We did Partner IVF (my eggs, her uterus). We lost our twins Tav.in and Ca.sey at 21 weeks gestation.
I have a ergo original and LO seems super comfy but I have the worst low back pain when I wear her in it. Any idea why it hurts me so badly? She is a giant (20lb) but I thought this carrier went up to toddler size. HALP! I am clearly a newb.
