Coral is so pretty!!! I'm debating buying a sz 3 nino off the owner of that shop from her stash. She seems very nice.
I've bought from Allie before, she's very nice and extremely knowledgable about Didy.
As for Corallina - @chitownsully um YES you need this! It's totally not my color but you and K would rock that. And Didy hemp is amazing. So incredibly baby blanket soft and floppy when broken in. This one is thick so personally would probably get it as a mid length or shorty, but I loved when stroop hemp was visiting me in my base - C was completely weightless. I even carried Jack around in it for awhile and it was very cushy on my shoulders. You can't go wrong on size unless you're worried about getting too hot.
****loss and living child discussed***** We're queer. I'm 34, have severe stage 4 endo, and both fallopian tubes are gone. My love ("Manada" 33) was diagnosed with diminished ovarian reserve. We did Partner IVF (my eggs, her uterus). We lost our twins Tav.in and Ca.sey at 21 weeks gestation.
I'll use the opportunity to ask, I stupidly don't understand how you are supposed to install baby in back carry when you're alone??
There is method known as the "walk like and Egyptian " method that is really great. There should be a YouTube video. I use the arm twist method where I cross my arms and grab under her arm pits for wraps, but haven't done a small baby in a SSC on my back.

I put him on in a front carry but don't tighten the straps. Then I spin him around to the back under my arm, shifting and bouncing. Once I get him on my back I bounce him up and tighten up all the straps. I wear the waist band much tighter and higher on my back than on my front.
Knitter thanks for the different angles! I think I will try to position her more to the side or hip. I wonder if she's uncomfortable too central on my front.

G is most comfy about 1/2 way between my hip and front. I find if he's too much on my hips then he's in my arm pit and if he's too far to the front then there's not much room between him and the rings.
Do you guys have any tricks for keeping baby complacent while wrapping?
G hates the process, especially on the back. Probably because I'm slower back there, but he makes it really difficult to back wrap him. I've gotten a lot better, I know several carries and I feel like I can execute them well except that he fights me so much that I often give up before finishing.
He'll lean and straighten his legs and pop the seat while I'm still in the middle of wrapping so I'll have to undo and go back to fix the seat, which he just pops again a minute later. He'll also rip out my hair (even when it's in a bun) and he digs his toes into the small of my back hard enough to bruise me.
I give him toys or a soother but it doesn't distract him enough, he's not a very good eater so I don't want to give him food on my back yet. Even if he's in a happy mood he seems to fight the wrap like crazy.
He likes being wrapped once it's done so my go to has been the ring sling since I can get him settled so quickly it's just so much easier so get some stuff done if he's on my back instead.

I wrap in my bathroom so Elle can look in the mirror when I back carry. She likes to pop seats too but the mirror tends to help us. Plus I can check my passes in the mirror so it's a win for me.
Y'all. I clearly suck at keeping up here (lol week of March 8) but someone just recommended a shorty challenge group to me on FB if anyone wants to play! Perfect for the summer
