My DH thinks it's funny when I say gullywasher for heavy rain (or other flood-like flow, such as bad nosebleeds). My family also says "Hold 'er in the wheat there, Rhubarb" when someone is driving outside the lines/drifting. I have no idea where it comes from, and can only guess that it's s farming reference, but DH thinks it's hilarious. I'm a farm girl and DH grew up in the mountains, so he doesn't get a lot of my bumpkin terms.
First, I'm just going to say that a lot of my mom's family is from the south. Anyways, I've heard and always giggled at the expression, "It's raining harder than a horse pissin' on a flat rock!" They're weird in the best sort of way.

I don't know if this really counts, but my mom always says "I'm gonna (insert noun as verb) you in a minute." Like, my husband was joking with her about getting popcorn at the movies, and she says "I'm gonna popcorn you in a minute." So now we just make up random ones to mess with her.
My mom uses the phrases: "They don't even have a pot to piss in" (referring to being broke), and "What are you going to do? Buy a gold plated piss pot?" (referring to wasting money).

"Oh, Fiddlesticks!" and "Well, shit in a bucket!" are two of my grandma's favorite expressions. DH says people are "Delta Bravo's" when he wants to call them douchebags.

I love these. My mom says it's hotter than a witch's tit in July. Which is funny because all you ladies have been using the witch's tit one as a cold saying. I'm betting my mom just messed it up somewhere along the way, she's pretty awesome with song lyrics too. That Macy Gray song that says "my world crumbles when you are not here," she thought it went, "I blow bubbles when you are not here."

My mom dies this too. We were talking about drinking before an OSU game once and my mom asked if we were putting on our "alcohol coats."
