I dyed the girls milk green this morning and left a note from Lucky the Leprechaun saying he did it We always have corned beef and cabbage for dinner too! Yuuuum!
Vera and St Patrick's Day don't get along apparently
DS couldn't wear green because they wear uniforms and can only wear certain colors. I did find him a sticker with some green on it to wear on his shirt. DD wore a purple Tinker Bell shirt so it does have green on it. Not really planning anything special. We'll probably have soup and sandwiches for supper. My kids won't eat corned beef or cabbage so there's really no point.

Coco has one green shirt that she hates and has never ever worn - until today. I like the idea of dyeing her milk - I'll do that tonight! I'll make her some green spaghetti noodles too with broccoli and call it good.
I didn't dress my kids up at all...didn't even think anything of it until I looked at my FB feed and saw all the kids in green. Whoops! Actually, I don't think either of them even have any green.
I have my corned beef and cabbage in the crock pot. H is picking up some Guinness on his way home. I may also pick up a fresh loaf of rye. Tomorrow daycare is doing their St. Patrick's party (not sure why not today), so Kayleigh is bringing in green juice (lemonade with green dye since I can't find any actual green juice).

I forgot to get a picture, but he's got on a ninja turtles shirt. It was so cute to see all the kids at school in green this morning. They are having a little party this afternoon.
My kids aren't wearing green. I actually don't think we have anything with green, except for maybe a tiny dot on a shirt. We have no plans. I might convince H to go out for supper but we'll see.

Shane decided to wear this today:
I'll have to chase down Aubrey for a pic later. We have corned beef and potatoes going in the crockpot and I'm actually really looking forward to eating dinner tonight. Tim wanted to try a new recipe he found for the corned beef but I was like please don't mess with something I actually want to eat.
No green here. I managed to get some socks on him that had some green on them. That is about it. I was actually surprised when I dropped him off at preschool am most of the kids did not have green either. I thought he was going to be the only one.

I'm drunk. Well tipsy. They took a break at 3 and had beer. Except I don't drink the beer. So they scavenged a bottle of vodka, except it wasn't vodka - it was gin. So I had Gin and spite. Gross. But I drank it. And now I am trying to draw floor plans while I'm tipsy. Thank god I have 2 hours before I go home.
There was some St. Patrick's day magic or something yesterday because both kids ate their corned beef and carrots without a single whine or issue. Kayleigh even asked for more, which never happens, especially with meat. They wouldn't touch the potatoes but I can live with that.

We made corned beef and cabbage with smashed red potatoes for dinner. At school the leprechaun turned the toilet green, dyed the milk green and turned everything upside down. Liam got such a kick out of that.
