Things that annoy me

Before you sit down, before you even take off your coat, you have 4 people gathered around your desk with things, projects for you to do today that they are fighting over for you to start on immediately. Chill. Let me turn on my computer. Seriously. I just walked in and I'm not late.

xanthepants - That's the worst.  It used to happen to me all the time.  One of the big perks of starting work early (6:30) is that no one else I work closely with is in, which means I have a couple hours to myself first thing.

Also my co worker, who I spoke to about being unprofessional is still coming over and talking shit about our boss but in a voice that is barely a whisper meaning I can't hear a single thing she's saying. It makes me want to throat punch her. And now if I put headphones on, she'll tap me on the shoulder to get my attention.

HEADPHONES ARE THE UNIVERSAL CODE FOR LEAVE ME ALONE.

Ugh, my boss does this to me after lunch. Barely get my key through the door and he's after me. Sometimes he even interrupts me in the breakroom. Which I take as a cue to finish up now and come in here.

xanthepants ugh I haaaate that. I am not a morning person, and my office is not exactly deadline-driven. I had this one coworker who used to run over to my desk basically the second I walked in to ask me a bunch of questions about whatever she was working on. I finally had to tell her "I'm happy to help you, but I am not a morning person and I need to have a cup of coffee before I talk to people." She backed off after that, lol

xanthepants ugh this is the worst. It happens to me all the time and not just in the morning. If I'm leaving for lunch and I'm walking out the door someone stops me, when I'm coming back from lunch someone stops me, when I'm leaving for the day someone stops me. It's never ending. I have actually parked in the back parking lot that is a further walk for me just so I can sneak in and out easier.

xanthepants, that sounds awful. I'm thankful that most of my co-workers actually work out of different offices so I don't have people physically hounding me all the time.

Riley has started asking how long until we get to places. She either asks the standard "are we there yet" a million times or asks me how many minutes until we get there. If I say something higher than 5 minutes she'll come back with "1 minute mama?" "2 minutes mama?" It was cute at first. Now it just drives me insane.

When exactly will I be old enough for this not to happen any more?

Me too!!  I just got over one on my chin and now this.  Such a PITA.

How do my children manage to bruise their faces the day before pictures almost every time. I scheduled a spring session this morning for tomorrow because everyone was bruise free. Around 10 am DD#1 basically dove into a wood table at the furniture store. I am beyond annoyed.

It's a pretty good sized goose egg at the moment. I'm going to see if make up and hair can cover it otherwise I'll reschedule. I've been rescheduling these pics since August for one reason or another.

Um yes. That's the one thing I missed about BC. It gave me wonderful skin. I never want to go on BC again but I need to get my skin to calm down. My damn chin area breaks out on the reg, and I have a combination oily/dry skin thing going on too. It sucks.

summergirl1211,Get rid of caffeine and alcohol. That will clear up your skin too. not quite worth the trade though...sad panda. I'll take a zit or two for that.

summergirl1211, if you go to Sephora they will give you any sample you want to try. It took a few visits but I finally have a cleanser and moisturizer that keep my skin hydrated (I get extremely flaky from being dry) AND keep me from breaking out. I thought such products did not exist!

Matthew always asks "do we have to go on the freeway to get there?" and then whines while we are on the on ramp. Kid despises the freeway for some reason.

summergirl1211 - Kayleigh has been doing the "Are we there yet?" thing for a while now. She thinks it is hilarious to ask it about 50 times a minute as fast as she can. I have stopped responding to her but she thinks that is even funnier. Eventually she does get bored of it when we are on a longer car trip, but in the meantime, I'm wanting to bang my head against the dashboard...

It annoys me that my almost 4 year old has shittier sleep patterns than he did as a newborn. He came in our room 3 times last night. The last time was at 3am and it was my turn to walk him back to his room. I was up until 5 and my alarm went off at 6. I feel like death today. When Tyler came back in our room right on time at 6:05 (every freaking morning) even Kevin asked, "Don't you ever sleep?" And Tyler was all, "It's time to wake up." I have all the rage today. All of it.

I am assigned on a particular project and got completely beat up about my hours on said project since I'm just the interior designer. So I have very, very limited hours to get my job done. However thus far I have a crazy agitated and flustered beyond belief project manager who is completely incapable of running a meeting so I've been asked to go along. The architect barely speaks English so the client is uncomfortable with her, so I have to reiterate everything she is trying to say. I have to "re-do" all the reports and correct them all so they make sense and have virtually rewritten everything in the past days. I'm completely carrying this project and I'm "just the Interior Designer" and will get beat up for my hours going over. Grrrr. Yet this project would fail if I wasn't covering everyone's a$$ right now. Sigh. I love my job, I love my job....
