roo1582 , I found your team... It looks like so much fun! The only thing that worries me is the "obstacles." Do you know exactly what they are?
Yes. (link). Scroll down to the course info. If you look at the course map, it will will show you the locations of the obstacles. If you click on those purple pins, it will give a tiny explanation and a couple of pictures of most of the obstacles. Most of them aren't too crazy (sack race, climb over large hay bales or smaller walls. crawl under wooden obstacles. It looks like there are 2 mud/water obstacles. Nothing I think is too crazy or physically demanding that I can see like monkey bars or vertical rope climb. Probably the hardest would be a net climb and the angled wall with a rope that can be slippery when wet (but there aren't any wet obstacles before hand, so as long as it doesn't rain...)
Ah, I see it now. Wasn't showing up on my phone... We can totally handle those. Let's do it!

Bugger, I thought I lost a pound according to my scale, but not so much with theirs. Boo. Just stayed the same. But I'm back to tracking this week and no big events to throw me off. I want a nice big loss to help me feel centered again.
I also need to focus on exercise. Somehow I have to take back the good weather and not be intimidated by my headaches this year. I refuse to have to stay inside!

somethingcleverer,I do get out and walk as much as possible, and I bike. I limit it mostly to evenings. My neuro thinks that maybe I might be hyper sensitive to shadows and the contrast between light and dark. So I've taken to wearing hats and sunglasses. I had such problems all last summer and it's beginning to shape up this spring with an increase again in the quantity and intensity of migraines already. I'm scared that it will be a repeat! I stay in the shade. I'm feeling like I will be relegated to being a hermit and I love being outside!

Oh no xanthepants I know I can get sensitive from coming inside after being in the bright sun I couldn't imagine if they triggered migraines. I really hope they find something that works for you so you do t have to suffer so much with these stupid migraines.

somethingcleverer, Thanks dear! Well there's now word on the street about mary J crème for migraines. Ha! Also I'm going to start trying Benadryl before stormy days. apparently that is working for my sister. She is also on blood pressure meds which got rid of most of hers, but that's not an option for me since I've got unusually low BP.
I just started another round on the 21 day fix program this morning. I've been slacking lately and if I commit to a full round I know I'll hold myself accountable.
