Hey, gonna put this in the right place this time!!
How's everyone doing? Physically? Emotionally? Crappy. Everything is still fresh. Today is my birthday. Nice to meet you, 30's, you can go F yourselves. I took today off work so I could get a little me time in today and hopefully start on the recovery track from all this.
How was your weekend? See above. Also, my nanny gave notice today, so I have a month to find a new one. She's only been with us since Jan, so I'm having trouble not being pissed, because we explicitly asked if candidates were in it for long term. I think it's just harder than she expected and she wants out. We should have hired someone with more experience, lesson learned.
Anything new to share? Not really. DH and I talked about the mc. He shared his feelings for the first time - he'd been holding back the last few days because I was such a mess and he didn't want to make me more upset. He was probably right, I would have been a mess two days ago for that convo. I think he was glad to be able to talk about it, and I was able to hold my shit together, so that's some improvement, I suppose.
What was your best moment with your LO(s) this week? Definitely Easter egg hunting. So cute. Also he made the M sound for the first time - I am dying for him to say mama.
GTKY: what was your favorite childhood toy or game? Legos!! I loved building stuff. I had an "I want to be an architect" phase in grade school where I'd draw plans for buildings.
Accountability Question: How did you do last week as far as reaching your goal? What is your goal this week and what are you doing to stay on track? No goals yet. Just trying to keep my shit together.

thanks for the check-in birch113 irish14, i'm glad you and DH were able to talk..it's been almost a year since our last loss, and I still can't talk about it without getting choked up
How's everyone doing? Physically? Emotionally? Doing pretty good. I've been super emotional and kinda crabby the last couple of days and I don't know why...it shouldn't be PMS cause AF should be 2 weeks away...
How was your weekend? Super busy but good
Anything new to share? Nope
What was your best moment with your LO(s) this week? She really loved hunting for Easter Eggs. The funniest moment was yesterday- apparently my child decided to turn the water faucet on the playground on during church yesterday while wearing her Easter finery- so we picked her up after church slightly soggier than we dropped her off- she was mad about it, but I though it was funny.
GTKY: what was your favorite childhood toy or game? Barbies- I had oodles of them
Accountability Question: How did you do last week as far as reaching your goal? What is your goal this week and what are you doing to stay on track? Still not doing great with walking, but I'm down another lb so that's great. I didn't do well this weekend with eating low carb like I'm supposed to, so the goal this week is to get back on track.

How's everyone doing? Physically? Emotionally? I am doing okay both physically and emotionally. Next week is spring break and we are going on a trip, so that is helping me get through the week. It crossed my mind the other day that it was about a year ago that we decided to start TTC a second child, so that has been a little difficult.
How was your weekend? My weekend was good. I didn't have to work Friday, so the 3 day weekend was nice. I got to enjoy some time outside.
Anything new to share? Nope.
What was your best moment with your LO(s) this week? We took him to the park the other day, that was fun. It also was fun dying Easter eggs with him.
GTKY: what was your favorite childhood toy or game? I think I am going to have to say Barbies too. My sister, my neighbor, and I played with them a lot.
Accountability Question: How did you do last week as far as reaching your goal? What is your goal this week and what are you doing to stay on track? I am doing in the exercise component. I am struggling with snacking and wanting sweets all the time. My goal this week is to try to minimize snacking. Maybe I should start a food journal to help me stay on track.
How's everyone doing? Physically? Emotionally? Physically, fine. Emotionally, not. MIL is waiting for a lung transplant. She got a call Saturday at our pre-Easter brunch to get to the hospital ASAP because she'd be the back up recipient. It didn't work out, but afterward, DH admitted he's more worried about this next pregnancy than he is his mother's lung transplant. My heart broke. I feel like I'm failing him. I know he doesn't think or feel that way, but I do.
How was your weekend? Emotional, with MIL's transplant call and fall through. But we had some really great times with DS.
Anything new to share? Just dealing with a raging fever from DS's MMR. :-(
What was your best moment with your LO(s) this week? He started rubbing his head on the cats. I think he's trying to give them kisses!
GTKY: what was your favorite childhood toy or game? I was OBSESSED with CandyLand!
Accountability Question: How did you do last week as far as reaching your goal? What is your goal this week and what are you doing to stay on track? We have been cooking at home diligently. No more take out!
woodenshoes, i've found a food diary sometimes helps me rethink my choices- i've used my fitness pal for awhile now b/c i can do it mobile (you can even scan barcodes) and on my work computer

How's everyone doing? Physically? Emotionally?
I think I'm doing okay, actually. I took another hpt and it was significantly lighter than last week's test. I've also decided to accept that the dress clothes in the closet from 10 years ago are never going to fit again. Time to purge (the clothes).
How was your weekend?
Easter was fun. BBQ is 20 months old so we didn't know how well he would "get" egg hunting, but he loved it. We had to keep sneaking eggs from the basket to each other so we could hide them again.
Anything new to share?
After hearing several TCF ladies (elsewhere) talk about "It Starts with the Egg" I ordered my own copy. It is very interesting, and super depressing. All the things are bad.
What was your best moment with your LO(s) this week?
He was terrible last night, so for the first time ever I brought him into my bed. It was actually kind of sweet because I heard him call out "mama" in his sleep. Probably dreaming about milk. Fatty.
GTKY: what was your favorite childhood toy or game?
I played with barbies but mostly set up their house and got bored. I also had smooshies (anyone?) and polly pockets.

Happy belated birthday, irish14. Since I'm celebrating today, I think that means you deserve an extra slice of cake. Sorry about the nanny. If she is this flaky chances are you'd want to fire her soon anyway. What a pain! Make that TWO slices of cake. Also, on my birthday 3 years ago (which was 29) I had to go pick up my second round of cytotec since the first didn't work. I waited until the next day to take it so it wasn't too pathetic. Big hugs.
tbonequeen13, I think soggy Easter finery is the best kind. I hope you took pictures, that will be fun to look back on later. How's your mood?
woodenshoes, that's a tough anniversary. I'm sorry. I hope time outside helped your mood.
birch113, ditto on the feelings, even though none of us should feel that way. I am so sorry about MIL's failed lung transplant--what an emotional roller coaster.
@madamovary so sweet that DS called out "mama"! I'm on the fence about reading "It Starts with the Egg". I worry that I'm going to get cray about everything.

For sure, I was on the fence about spending major $$$$$ replacing everything in my kitchen and bathroom, taking ALLLLLLL the supplements, etc.....or "whatever, I'm getting cheese fries."
