Thank you so much for sharing this! I'll share with my son's school as well. I also hope this does not become a trend like sunflower oil. My son is allergic to so many things including sunflower oil. It has been very trendy lately to make things more "healthy" and "natural." The stuff is everywhere. Thank goodness for labels.
This is annoying. Those are both very popular snack crackers and most other parents won't realize that they are potentially very dangerous to allergic classmates. I'm sure peanut flour is an inexpensive ingredient, but this feels like a dumb move.
Why would they intentially want to risk people getting sick. I hope all with allergies read this. This should be on all news channels and this is the first I heard of this. My son potentially has a peanut allergy and it is scary.
Whatever money they save by switching to peanut flour I bet they will lose in business because of people with allergies not buying their products. We aren't affected by this but I do have Celiac disease so I understand the frustration that comes with this. Companies should be more allergy friendly, not less!
