purple I've heard of people losing weight but always assumed it was MS related. I guess my body is working harder than I give it credit for! More snacks for me!

I think it often is, and obviously if you're unlucky enough to have HG the weight loss can be dangerous. But I lost more than a stone and all I did differently was cutting out sweet things between meals. I couldn't exercise because although I didn't throw up during first tri, I was constantly dizzy.
And yes, your body is working extremely hard. Give it some credit :-)
Good morning ladies! Anyone else wanting to eat everything in sight?
I've been waking up starving! I've been just eating my normal amount of food and figured that was good enough since I stopped working out (REs orders) but since I'm starving so often and have lost a few pounds in the last two weeks I wonder if I need to eat more. I guess I'll give in to my hunger a little more
You have better willpower than me! I just gave into my hunger!
And I justify if because I'm obviously saving hundreds of calories by not drinking. Right?
I just ate a leftover piece of chicken parm for breakfast. I woke up voracious. I get my nausea in the afternoons so I guess breakfast is going to be my big meal. Haha
ETA: and an English muffin. No need for me to lie.
I'm not really having nausea yet. Plenty of dizziness! The nausea was worse for me in second tri last time, because I had low blood pressure.
Definitely go for big breakfasts if that's what you can eat! I'm a big believer in eating what and when you can when pregnant :-) I've never had chicken parmesan, which isn't surprising as Wikipedia says it's Italian-American. Looks yummy, though!
Chicken Parmesan is so delicious.
Breaded chicken with sauce and cheese. Can't go wrong.

Oh good point. I don't think I'd fully accounted for all the beer calories I'm missing out on. That's probably 4lbs in two weeks easily.

I had veggie sushi & some veggie chips for lunch. All I want right now is a nap. In my bed, under covers. It's chilly today! My ds has other plans. He keeps bring me his jacket. :/
Im officially sick. Soar throat, stuffy nose and overall miserable. I need to feel better but the losingers arent cutting it. Recommendations anyone? I got aick like this twice last pregnancy in my first tri due to the suppressed immune system. Hope it doesnt happen again. Blerg. Also, tomorrow is my last day of complete bed rest! I havent spotted in two days which is a very good sign. Yay
anaberry Apple cider vinegar, cinnamon, honey and hot water. Tastes like shit but it helps! Pregnancy illnesses are THE WORST. Our immune systems are way down too so we don't attack the babes. Feel better!
I'm dreading illness this time round because a) existing baby; and b) there is nothing I can take, not even the concoction mentioned above, because of the honey. Reminder to self: don't borrow trouble...
I have mild type II diabetes. Outside pregnancy it's so mild that I take a pill twice a day, don't need to be particularly careful of what I eat, and my blood sugars are extremely well controlled. During pregnancy the whole thing goes haywire. If I want to eat anything sweet, up to and including a glass of milk (because of the natural sugars), it has to be with lunch or dinner. I have to eat five times a day. I've started finger prick tests four times a day whilst I wait to see the consultant, but I know I'll need to start injecting insulin because they are way too high. So, no honey because it's too sweet.

Im sorry to hear that! I can imagine the stress and the sad of nit being able to eat something sweet when you want it!
The dump and bby center apps are stupid- they wont give me updates about this pregnancy - only of my current baby. littlelion, when you find a good app let me know!

This cold makes my face want to crawl off me and die. On another note, i have to go back to work tomorrow because of parent teacher conferences. This sucks
A lot of people probably aren't sure they're KTFU yet. I'm only about six weeks and pretty sure my EDD will be at the beginning of the month. It is quiet at the moment, but I'm sure it'll get busier.

Anyone getting morning sickness or food aversions yet?
Ugh, I haven't got sick yet, but nausea has hit big time. I rode the entire way home from grocery shopping with my eyes closed and an empty bag in my lap. I swear DH was hitting every pothole on purpose. The only food aversion that has hit is yogurt. I cannot stand the smell of it at all right now. There goes my morning smoothie
