Has anyone thought about what you want to get your mom for Mother's Day?
I want to do something really special for my mom since she has been an amazing help with cleaning, watching the kids and basically helping with anything I need while I'm having my bad weeks. I was thinking of sending an edible arrangement because she really enjoys those, but I really want to get something else that's maybe more personal and can convey how much appreciate everything she's done for me and my family. Hopefully when everything is over I can send my parent off for a weekend away as a thank you for everything. I feel like I'm the least creative gift giver. Sometimes it honk of something completely awesome but he other 90% of the time I'm grasping for ideas

Honestly I'm always at a loss for this stuff too. I was thinking of a coffee mug with Riley's picture on it but it never seems like "enough". I'm also not a creative gift-giver.
Put me on the list for non-creative gift givers...I have no clue. I was thinking about signing up for a Mommy & Me mini-session with the kids and having her do it with us but she hates doing pictures but maybe I'll just force her.
Totally not creative here either. I usually just send my mom a check so she can buy some plants for her garden. This past fall they moved to AZ so I know she's not doing that much gardening now. I'll probably just ask her what she wants me to get her, which most likely will be sending her a check or gift card....

roo1582, They can still do pots and plants there. They will blow thru a lot more annuals actually. Mom actually spends more on her plants than she thought she would would landscaping services (having palms trimmed and things replaced now and then). So it still might be a good idea!
I like the grandma and me photo session idea! And I love gifting a weekend away - somethingcleverer, That is really thoughtful. Maybe a bottle of wine to announce it in advance?
