FFFC: I've only gotten out of bed before noon a handful of times since Christmas. In defense of my lazy ass, I also picked up the habit of going to bed no earlier then 1 am

I think I put perma-fart smell in my couch. I keep smelling the awful gas smell I had earlier. Except. It's been a while. Oh, and only seems to smell around my couch. :insert cone of shame:
OK I have a real FFFC it drives me BSC when people say "creepy internet hugs" I don't think it's creepy. Telling someone ((hugs)) isn't weird or creepy, it's thoughtful.

Maybe they're just worried that the thing they said before the hug could constitute the hug as creepy? Like: "You look really good today ((hugs))." Better put "creepy" in there fast or I'm gonna post-it you.
orangepickle my dog is often the last to be picked up from daycare and I feel like a terrible dog mom! Never forgotten her, but once during 1st tri I accidentally fell asleep and woke up exactly at closing time, and getting there takes ~25 minutes. I frantically rushed over there, wound up telling the owner I was pregnant because it was the only thing I could think to say that didn't make me look like an asshole.
I'm still in regular pants but not my prepregnancy pants. I'm in my "I just graduated college, got married, spent time in Italy" fat pants. I have one more size I can go up before switching to my maternity pants.
Poppy I'm glad you're so much more active here! I've always liked you and wondered why you only popped in and out.
Because I'm muthereffing busy. j/k I used to not log in at work and just bump from my phone. It was glitchy as hell because I use the browser. I also was weird about posting on the BMB. I don't know why. I was active on TTCAL and then when I moved I got a little weirded out. It's scary being in a new place. I think I'd lurk a lot and then not post. I was always in the shadows...

Where in Italy were you? I went for three weeks in college. I came back SO skinny because we walked literally everywhere. I even ate gelato like three times a day. I bought clothes when I got home that I could never wear again after I adjusted.

We were there for just about 3 weeks as well. We were in Rome, Umbertide, Florence and then Venice. We saved for two years to go. We ate full course meals at least once a day because duh it's Italy. We walked a lot too but I think we drank and ate more lol. Where were you?

This is exactly how I felt coming from TTGP. I'm glad I wasn't the only one.
I'm making dinner for a good friend who had a new baby last night. I called this am to ask if they wanted dinner. And her dh said yeah and then said we have some food that needs to be cooked up because we wont be cooking with the new baby. So im using mostly their food. It makes me feel a little bad. Ill probably bring them another meal next week so I dont feel terrible but how would I say no.

Don't feel bad at all! It's still a really nice gesture to go over there, grab their stuff and cook it. I'm with them and HATE wasting food (actually, who likes wasting food? but that's beside the point).
I hate it too, so Im happy to help, but it just feels a liiiitle weird

I totally agree with this. They're going to have people bringing them lots of food so they probably don't want to waste the food they already have that they would struggle to prepare on their own. Honestly, I would be thrilled if someone came over after I had baby and just cooked the foods I had sitting around. I think that's an amazing thing to do.
Im also in a weird phase with this pregnancy as far as my bump. People are like Oh! Your bump is growing so much over the last few weeks. Well yeah Im pregnant and baby is growing a lot. I just want to just tell people to back off.

I had a looong day in terms of work (started with a conference call at 3am) and I fell asleep the minute I was done working around 4:30pm. My mom is here at the moment and felt bad for me being so tired, so she woke me up a few minutes ago to ask if I'd eaten dinner and I totally asked for (and got) dinner in bed. Writing this here because I totally confess to asking her to go back downstairs and get me a drink when she came to deliver my food. Bless her.

What a sweet mama you have. Get some rest. I'd be a bum for the rest of the night with that craziness.
