jfresh have you tried something like nuvaring? I suck at the pill but loved that thing. You just take it out after three weeks. Even if you forget, it has enough medicine to cover you for four weeks.
I know, it is really gross! It hurt a little bit, but not really. It looks totally normal now. I've never had anything like that happen before so hopefully it was just a weird one-time thing.
They put me up to starting this in the UO thread, so I couldn't let you guys down.
I really hope the real Gina has something better to do
Ugh, that sucks jfresh! After being off the pill now for over 4 years I can't imagine going back to it. And $47/month is expensive! Is insurance covering any of it? Any thoughts on what you'll do instead?
They covered a bit but this one doesn't have a generic so they don't do a whole lot. I'd been doing NFP and pull out, somehow that had my mind at ease a lot more than the pill. I think we'll just go back to that.
jfresh under the new laws, they should be covering at 100%. Are you using TriCare? Are they exempt? I just ask because they were making me pay, and I called and they send me a reimbursement. You should not have to pay for BCP.

I've never thought to try it but after this month I'll definitely consider it! origamimommy, we do have tricare and I'm not sure the law applies. I think there are also loopholes that insurance companies use to get around paying for certain brands too. I chose Lo loestrin because I wanted a really low dose, when I've been on the pill in the past it really messed with my skin, mood, etc. Of course this one doesn't have a generic yet. My OB gave me a discount card but you can't use them with government insurance.
jfresh, ask your doc how lo loestrin compares to Aviane in terms of hormone levels. It was the generic I was on for a long time (trying to remember the name brand) and was super low dose too.... That is if you want to continue with the pill.
This is more "Hey Gina's cats" (I'm assuming she's a cat person). I just watched my dog eat my other dogs steaming piece of poo. I was wondering why she was lingering outside and I tried to stop her, but it was too late. My gag reflex is still going strong.

After work today I went to Walmart (my first mistake) and it was roughly 85* in there. It's freezing out so I was wearing my heavy coat and sweating my ass off. Literally. My ass crack was so sweaty, I just came home and stripped from the waist down.

Yuck. I can handle when she eats the old, dry turds. It was the fresh-out-of-the-oven one she practically inhaled that turned my stomach.
The difference is solidity, you're right. The dry turds don't get smushed up in the dog's beard.
I have another dog who loves to eat poop. Cat poop is her snack of choice. My 75 lb pit-lab mix will climb through the CAT door to get to the litter box ... I'm not sure how she fits. Where there is a will, there's a way I suppose. Anyways, we had to gate the stairs off leading to the cat area because of this.

We call that kitty-roca around here (because it looks like almond roca). Our dog goes for that when she's especially hungry.
mightybee She certainly is a cat person (Gina, they already know you so well!). Her cat has her own Facebook, if course ("Callie the little calico kitty")!
::trying to resist the urge to friend request Gina's cat::

I definitely looked the cat up. 798 friends! What?!

rollerrink, I am going to be completely honest. Your SIL has a public fb and I may have stalked her recently. Anti vacc? Are you fucking kidding me? Since it would be completely creepster to comment, I had to run, run away.

rollerrink, Sorry for being such a creeper, haha! But she did post one of the most ridiculous anti-vaxx articles I have ever read. And her little babies are fucking weird. Almost as weird as me for creeping on her.
Aaah, you guys are making me nervous! (Please don't let her ever find out about this, please don't let her ever find out about this!)
mrsrek10 - I think you'd have to look at my list of friends on my Facebook, and find her name there. You know her first name, and we have the same last name.
