I can't even express how I will feel when it's done. It has given me some really good exposure, but it's just been too much.
The company I work for just closed a merger at the end of last week my bosses have been running around trying to find everything that needs to be fixed in the store and get it grand opening ready here in the next couple weeks. We aren't doing a grand reopening but with new corporate mangers and district managers they all want it to look perfect. I've been stressed because they have been adding chores to do on top of my departmental duties and helping customers. I'm so ready for it to be over.
I had to leave work early yesterday because our sitter was getting sicker by the minute and DH had already left for work. Apparently my boss was not ok with it like he said he was because he sent me general typing grunt work to do this morning. And, I've already done more work in 45 minutes than the rest of my office does in an entire day.
On a lighter note...we have started a reward system for DS. He loves stickers, so for every good behaviour day he has, he gets a sticker. When he has 10 stickers he can have a lollipop. He seems to love it, his behaviour has improved lately when reminded about his sticker.
He got his first Lolly today. It is currently stuck in his hair, which he thinks is hilarious.
So I kind of skimmed through yesterday and got a little caught up.
kaylajade - I hope that they can find answers for your nephew and that this isn't rejection. How very scary. You and your family are in my T&Ps.
heartwood - I'm sorry you are going through this. Everyone yesterday gave you great advice. I know I don't know you or your situation like everyone else on this board, but just wanted to say I hope you are doing okay and can come to a decision that's best for you and your LO
Today is the last day of my OB/GYN rotation. Sunday I start 5 weeks of urgent care. Then I'm done, and just have to pass my boards before I can start working. I'm so excited. And exhausted.
I hope everyone has a good Friday giant cups of coffee for all!!
Edit: also, it's a good thing it's my last day in OB/GYN because it keeps giving me all the baby fever, and DH has to talk me off the ledge of wanting another one ASAP way too often.

Unfortunately, if you do actually do work, more Is expected of you.
Slacking off gets you out of it because no one expects anything else.
ssfc2014 It really seems to help. He was getting to a point of having a tantrum everyday. We made the chart together and he can reach it, so he gets to go and put his sticker on. He gets pretty excited about it, so I am hoping it continues to help.

kaylajade Prayers for your nephew and all of your family. I hope they can get his numbers down. americanninjamommy So, at 5 pm on the 13th, will it be beer, wine, or straight to the hard stuff once all of your meetings are finally done?
Sleep dust to all of the donkey and horse babies on the board. And coffee to all of us.
One of my co-workers brought in bagels and cream cheese today. Should I get a second bagel? If so, what flavor? The questions I must answer.
Morning ladies! I am going to make an effort to keep up today.

I am so happy to have the day off today especially after 16 hours on my feet yesterday, I'm really feeling it.
I think it's because it is my birthday or the fact that I only got two hours of sleep but he got up with LO and offered to take the girl scout to her appointment at 930 and then to school.
I get to have all the baby snuggles!
I am going to lunch for the first time in forever. All I do is work, sleep, and take care of my kids.
TGIF!!!!!!! I just want to say thank you to all of you ladies. Without you I would have never known about Erase Paste. And let's face it, there are many days where I wouldn't have looked right without it!!!
I have no idea what this is.
Concealer! I had DH get it for me for Christmas since I hate spending money on makeup
I'm frustrated this morning. I started DD in the crib 3 weeks ago and she was doing fairly well, then suddenly I was lucky to get her down for an hour at a time. I gave in and put her back in the RnP and she slept great (by my low standards) for a couple of days and now she's back to being up 3-4 times a night. Will this kid ever sttn?
Maybe a growth spurt? We had her STTN in the crib, had two weeks of up every hour and now she's back to only 1-2 times up. We just kept doing the routine and when I got too tired I put her in the RNP or pulled her in bed with me.

So much this. It's so annoying. The people who fuck around all day continue to do so while the handful of hard workers get dicked over because we actually care about our jobs and know shit has to get done.
Unrelated- I hope your nephew and family get some answers and good news kaylajade
It is a miracle working concealer, without it I would look like a zombie! I heard about it on the one and only O14!
Is it mostly for acne or is it good for under the eyes, too? I need to find something for my husband for tv appearances. He has very dark bags under his eyes.
Upped my data plan yesterday so I can pump and probe. FYI verizon lowered most of their data plans by $10 yesterday. We were up from 11:40am-2:30am working on a poo that was 2 days in the making. It was everything I feared it would be. then B needed to play around a little to tire herself back out. I'm exhausted and hoping teenagers are too today! Luckily my planning period is at the end of the day so no more kids after 12pm.
Guise. Totally forgot about pumping today, i was just going about my business when it suddenly occurred to me that I'd been at work 3.5 hours. Whoops.
How often do you pump? I pump every 3-4 hours, is that too long?
I last fed DD at 4:45, so it's been ne q rly 4 hours. I try to keep it to every 2-3 hours depending on my patient schedule. My longest stretch is before I go home, which is close to 4 hours. I get a lot of milk in the morning and my schedule is more flexible then, so I try to pump more in the morning. I think if you are comfortable and getting enough to keep up with the baby, then whatever you do is fine. I usually pump 4 timesin a 10 hour work day, plus commute time (about another 1.5 hours),
