Last night my dad and brother came over for game night. We try to do this once a month. I love them coming over but last night the game took much longer than normal. They didn't leave until 9. I feel like I am the welcoming committee in our town lol DH is military and any time he makes a new buddy at work whose wife is lonely or doesn't have any friends he invites the over to dinner so that I can befriend her lol we're having one of those dinner tonight but I feel like soon I should just have all the ladies over for a girls night so that they can become friends. Some of them I genuinely like but some of them I'm just being nice/welcoming. Does that make me a terrible person? Don't answer that lol

I should fold laundry during my toddler's nap today, but I think I am going to apply my new jamberries instead. I have never done it before, and I am weirdly nervous about it. I suck at doing nails.

No, definitely doesn't make you a terrible person. I think being nice/welcoming is good enough.

I have to deal with these situations all of the time too with the expat community and I have quickly realized not everyone is meant to be friends. I think there is nothing wrong with that! I don't love everyone or want to hang out and am sure plenty feel the same about me.

My cat is an asshole. I woke up with him in the crook of my arm (I think he was trying to cradle himself) and when I switched positions, he started making as much noise as feline-ly possible to exact his revenge. This, in turn, woke up our ginormous dog who whined and rested his face on us until we got up. I miss my bed.

In good news, the car DH and I were trying to get (see: Thankful Thursday) worked out! New car for him with a 20% lower interest rate! Huzzah!

Another random: I don't know who most of the couples in the siggies are. I don't watch TV except for Jeopardy and kids shows, and I am not really into movies. Mostly I look at them in confusion. (ETA: The siggies, not movies. Ha.)
