I am still trying to think about the last thing I got for myself. Oh, got it!
I bought a candle! That is probably one of the things I have a tendency to go over the top in. This one was just from target for less than $20 but I was about to buy one earlier in the day for over $30. The most expensive one I've purchased was $90. I'd probably buy it again though. Someday.
Oh yeah, i forgot shoes... So technically these which are better looking on. I was going to get rid of the gold part, but i like it now. ETAi have been wearing them with ponte pants
3dimesdown If you like the concept of stitch fix, I high recommend Le Tote! It's like rent the runway meets stitch fix. $60/month for unlimited boxes which include 3 clothing items and 2 accessories (like jewelry, scarves, purses) and you actually get to wear them. If you like something, you can buy it. They curate your totes for you, but they send you pics of it all beforehand and you can switch it out for things you like better if you want.
I sound like a rep LOL but I used to do stitch fix a few years ago and I think Le Tote is way better! I have free totes to give out to friends if you want to try it out. There's also a bunch of coupon codes on retailmenot for discounts off the first month.
Facebook ads got the best of me and I ordered a couple of swimsuits and tops from Rosegal.com. Everything was super cheap after a discount code, less than $10 each. It's definitely coming from another country or something, but the reviews seem to be good so I figured I'd try it out.

belle0720 So you get to wear the clothes for a month and send them back if you don't like them? Interesting. I doubt I wear "real" clothes often enough to get me money's worth out of that though, since I wear jeans and tshirts to work most days. For you fancy dress up people, it sounds pretty awesome.
With stitch fix, I'm mostly hoping to slowly build my wardrobe back up by buying 1 or 2 pieces a month, since I don't like shopping. Haha.
3dimesdown Gotcha. I can't fathom not enjoying to shop though, I'm happy to be your personal shopper anytime you need madymoiselle So you can actually get unlimited boxes with Le Tote, they send a new one every time you mail a tote back. I've been getting a new tote every week. My H has been raving about all of the cute outfits too! I can't fit into a lot of my clothes still so this has been a fun way to spruce up my look without investing in new bigger clothes. I have 3 free totes to give away to anyone if they want to try it (honestly there's no perk for me, just spreading the good word)

I have a cash gift card from my birthday last year that I just realized has a fee after 12 months of consecutive non-use, so I basically HAVE to go shopping!

I used to love Stitch Fix. It was a great way to rebuild my wardrobe after baby # 1. They sent me shitty boxes during my pregnancy and right after so I ended up quitting. My friend found a local thrift store that their distributors donate my favorite stitch fix brands to, with the tags on, so I've been cleaning up on $4 tops and pants there to get my fix. Latest purchase was a grey half zip jumper. June 15 obviously has grey taste.
PurpleIris I'm excited about getting my first package from them, but I'm also really pessimistic about actually liking what they send and it fitting. Do you feel like they usually get your style right? And sizes?
12.
Sizing was always spot on, surprisingly. I liked about 90% of the styles. I usually wanted to keep everything, and did a few times but it adds up.

@jemomma, I did stitchfix for a while. IMO not worth it. They tend to send things at the very TOP of your selected price point, and I always felt like I could find similar things for cheaper (on sale) if I took the time to look. Plus, it didn't feel very special or hand selected, which it would have needed to to make the price worth it.
I loved the experience of it, but the clothes themselves didn't pan out.
