I think I have reached the point that I think this board should die...it has become painful to see the threads and watch as we attempt to keep limping it along. So while I am not leaving TCF, I won't be posting here a ton either. Maybe this is UO & FFFC
February '12 died a very slow, but very serene death starting around this time (well, except the blow up around one FFFC that was themed "have you ever cheated on someone" - I don't recommend asking that in a diverse group of women like this). My experience is that with the exception of a few boards it's just the nature of the thing. No need to make a big deal out of it either way. If you want to post, post. If you don't, don't
I would bet my right arm that at least one member of A14 has cheated on their partner. Why not spice the board up.

Someone confess!!!
My vague memory of how this went down on 212:
1) multiple people confessed to being "the other woman" for a married man in the past (nobody confessed to being the other woman currently, that would have been seriously spicy). Also it was not the same married man, just that these women had cheated with said married man. There was a particularly vivid story about pocket dialing the wife in one post. 2) a long time member of the board pulled the "I feel sorry for your children" card at those women.

Way harsh. If you don't want to post, that's cool, but no need to want the board to die.
Obviously it has slowed down a ton. I also think if someone was in need of advice, so many of us ladies would eventually see the thread and answer. It might take days instead of hours at this point, but I'm OK with that.
Yes the board is slow. But it doesn't need to die.
All of us are probably dealing with super busy toddlers right now. Some also have newborns to care for. Or older kids. School work to do and/or jobs. So checking in on the Internet is not as high of a priority.
But I'm glad this board is here. Slow or not, I consider y'all friends. It helped me stay sane during the last 6 months with my MIL here.

This board won't die if we don't let it. I check it every other day in a worst case scenario. We are in a busy stage. How cool could it be in two years when our kids are more self sufficient? I doubt I will stop having things to ask/say.
My UO, I do not think pre-school is the end all, be all. Other than toying with the idea of German International school because of DS's heritage and the fact that he has family in Germany I haven't given much thought to it. I don't plan to look around or research other locations at all, if we can afford the German school we may make the change. But most likely we will stay where he is at for pre-school and I am pretty sure DS will still be a successfully functioning adult.
Kind of lurker lately. But I really wish there was a German school where I live. I know it is really far thinking of me, but if your kid can pass a German language test then they can apply to German universities. And in Germany if you get into a university then you get free tuition.....even if you are foreign.
But then I think about my one and only child living in Germany w/o mommy and I change my mind. But if you have German family then it would be a no brainer.
