Speaking of inductions my midwife gave me this book. I highly recommend it to anyone looking at any type of birth. Really sorts out options and outcomes.
All my labs came back fine. I have protein in urine and my doctor will discuss on Monday. My vision is totally fine now and I feel like I wasted time going but I'm glad I went to know everything is fine.
My OB was open to induction any time after the due date. I was due with DD May 13th and we had one scheduled for the 15th if she didn't come. She came on her due date.
My random: we are celebrating Mother's Day tomorrow so I made a last minute gift from DD. Last year she made footprint butterfly pots. I got flowers for the pots and am going to put what we made tonight with it. It says love, and her name with date at the bottom I ended up keeping one because I know her hand won't be that small forever! She loved making them.
woodengirl07 nope. I do have a really bad cough that I mentioned to the doctor. I also mowed my huge backyard this morning and now I'm thinking maybe I just overdid it today with getting ready for visitors.

DH just surprised me with reservations to my favorite restaurant tonight for us and DS. I had to change into comfier pants so I can eat more. And I had to take some tums as the acid reflux is killing me today. I'm super excited for the fondue....as is DS!

I'm actually reading this now! Some of the birth stories are a little crunchy for my taste but I've enjoyed them so far.

I read this book when I was pregnant with DD1. I was shooting for a natural childbirth (in the hospital) and figured the only way to get there was to be mind over matter (barring no actual medical complications). This book had some parts that were total hippy dippy off the wall but most of it was really positive to read about a bunch of natural childbirths. It made it seem more possible and doable. I think it definitely leans towards natural everything but it does give some great things to consider. It eased my mind about a number of things and gave me this if they can do it in the woods and houses then I can certainly do it with the safety net of a hospital. Just my perspective.
woodengirl07, Nope, don't have bad allergies! It's been so weird. It's like a 10 minute episode where I can hardly see and become very disoriented. However, my BP is normal, no protein in urine, and blood work issues weren't related to that. Weird. I know they've done everything they can to check into it, though!
