Not morbid in my book. I visit the cemetery to talk to my mom. And present to her my dh and more recently my ds.

I've been doing plenty of perusing on Amazon and Old Navy but no purchases yet. Although I did order 3 pairs of shoes from DSW. Summer shoes. For when summer decides to show up.

I bought a non-maternity maxi dress at Old Navy today. I have visions of spending my summer in dresses.

I ran errands all morning, vacuumed the whole house and now I'm laying down. I have like zero stamina.

Well I haven't been productive. I was feeling so crappy I couldn't even nap with DS in the morning. It's passed now so waiting to see if he'll nap this afternoon. I keep dozing off on the sofa.

Its been a day. I was working in the yard with hubs and my back started aching. I peed and the burning began. I ended up at urgent care for antibiotics...hooray!

I went to this cool event for new and expecting moms in our area, mostly because my OB's practice was doing a panel and I wanted to get an idea of some of the other doctors. There were booths set up and door prizes, which was fun, but I had people constantly asking me, "Are you expecting?" becuase most of the women were very obviously pregnant. I wanted to say, "No, I'm not expecting, I just like to hang out with pregnant women and enter raffles for baby gear." Anyway, I probably took it too personally but I found it annoying. And then I won a raffle prize.

I got to eat lunch at chili's today, since my DH is awesome and knows I've been craving their boneless wings. 

Then we went to a work retreat which was ok, but my DD got so exhausted from playing that she's passed out. Win since I'm also exhausted at 8pm...

I went to a consignment sale that had a shit ton of baby stuff and maternity clothes. So I got 2 pairs of maternity jeans, a pair of maternity pants I could wear to work, a shirt I could wear with those pants, a pair of yoga pants (why would anyone get rid of a pair of yoga pants? I don't get that one!!) and a boppy with 2 covers, a diaper bag, a diaper genie elite, a diaper caddy, like 6 hooded towels, some wash cloths, a baby bathtub and two changing pad covers. And the best part: I spent $100! For all that stuff!

I think I read somewhere that they come back in the fall, so by then I'll know what I'm having and I'll have a better idea what kind of theme my nursery will have, so I'm sure I'll do some more damage at that one lol.

I assume I'll find out sex(es) at the anatomy scan, as I don't anticipate being offered the genetic screening thing early (nor do I expect my crappy insurance to cover it, if it is offered...) it's all good. I've waited this long, I can wait a few more weeks

How crazy would it be to try and call my doctor's office tomorrow and see if they can get me in for an u/s? My first appointment is for Friday the 13th at 8 weeks and I haven't had betas drawn. I have been sick for the last three days and can't take anything that actually helps so it is just me at my netipot. There is part of me that's like "Shouldn't I just make sure I am pregnant rather than needlessly suffering?" and then there's also part of me that's like just wait it out. I'd be 6 weeks and 3 days. What say you D16 members? I'd add that besides sore boobs and some lower back pain I don't feel like I have a ton of pregnancy symptoms anymore so that is adding to my paranoia/PAL brain.

I could go either way on this. At 6w3d you might not see much and that could give you more anxiety. But I totally understand wanting to see what's in there! I had my first US at 7w4d and that felt good for me.

Ugh, fingers crossed it's a mild summer!  There's nothing I hate more than it being hot and humid while I'm pregnant.  And this pregnancy, I can't hide out in the a/c because my little boy loves being outside and going to the pool.

I would go in if I was you, it doesn't hurt to get some reassurance. I had my first u/s at 6w3d and we were able to see the HB. I feel like a little reassurance helps (At least for a little bit...) I'm sorry your feeling this way!

Thanks hmr11913, @kc295905! I think I'm going to see how I'm feeling today. If better than maybe I'll tough it out. I think I'm mostly feeling guilty that DH had to do everything this weekend and I just want to get better! It is not my personality to just lie around!
