Just googling anterior placentas and it sounds like the placenta can move around the uterus. I'm wondering if mine has moved now since I'm feeling a lot of kicks. Hmm. I don't have any more ultrasounds scheduled so I might not ever know.
I'm def not getting any jabs, just sweeps when he moves positions and little gentle kicks /punches. I think I'm feeling less jabs and painful punches because I have an anterior placenta. Yay for not feeling uncomfortable from baby movements!
I have an anterior placenta and my little guy has given me a number of painful kicks! All on my sides. With my first pregnancy, DS was so gentle. And he's a really calm, laid back kid. I'm already worried that this next one will be more of a handful based on his behaviour in the womb!
DS was a big kicker in the womb and unfortunately has been non stop since birth, much more than his sister ever was.
The meds finally wore off so I'm back to the normal nagging headache rather than the full blown migraine. H took today off to stay home with DS. He's been amazing with keeping DS entertained and taking him outside when he got restless. He went ahead and took off tomorrow too after the meds made my head worse. So hopefully I can continue to relax and maybe get into the doctor tomorrow. I don't think I've drank this much water or slept this much in years but it's kind of glorious.
I feel like it seems that most of you at this point are getting solid kicks and jabs from your baby. Sam's have never hurt though or been uncomfortable, they always seem to be pretty gentle. Anyone else have a baby like this?
I don't remember Dd's movements ever hurting. She was also not a baby that would stand and bounce on your legs - if you tried she'd just tuck her legs up under her, and she was on the late end of most gross motor skills.
This kid feels bigger and stronger. Trying to nap yesterday and I couldn't because he was kicking me hard for an hour. Sometimes it feels like he stretches out and just keeps pushing and pushing. He's also doubled me over with what I'm guessing are jabs to the cervix.
housecarder have you ever tried a magnesium supplement? It's one of those things that many people are low on and can cause a variety of issues. During second tri with DD, when my headaches were really bad, someone suggested it to me. It helped through pregnancy. I kept taking it after and have far fewer migraines overall. I used to have bad, monthly, hormonal migraines.
Bonus for breastfeeders - it helps with calcium absorption and combined with a calcium supplement can alleviate supply dips when your cycle returns.
For the most part, movement is not painful. But every now and again, she will throw an elbow or a heel straight out that makes me stop in my tracks and gasp. It must have something to do with how she is positioned because it happened more frequently for a few days, then she seems to move a bit and I have not had it happen since last week.

comicSans I haven't. I'm willing to try just about anything right now. I spent the evening my blacked out bedroom with cold wash cloths. This morning it's at least back to the dull aching rather than the splitting migraine.

For my migraines, I take magnesium, q10, and b6 supplements as a preventive. All pregnancy safe. My neurologist recommended them. Although I haven't taken them since getting sick with hg.

My bumps and kicks are much stronger now but never painful. Sometimes he'll kick so hard it will bounce my arm off my belly but it doesn't hurt, just surprises me. He's up very high and all my big kicks are top left. I sometimes feel light stuff lower and inside but it's much softer.
We have to replace our septic system before we sell our house. We have gotten 3 quotes, 1 that the buyers realtor facilitated and is pushing for. The quote the buyer wants us to go with requires 6 trees to be cut down at a cost of 4K but the other 2 companies don't require any trees to be cut down. I called the contractor who is saying we need trees removed and he said that the only reason he quoted tree removal is the buyers realtor told him WE had agreed to remove the trees. What the actual fuck. No I did not agree to pay to remove trees unnecessarily.
I would do what is in your budget, and not worry about the buyers. At this point, they aren't locked into anything and could still walk away after all of that work. My friends had buyers say that there needed to be $5,000 worth of work done on the house, and that my friends had to use their contractor. Well my friends have contractors that work in those fields, so they bought all of the supplies after they got several quotes (one from their friends and two from random well known companies in the area) saying that it would be no more than $2,000 for the repairs, and then used their friends who are contracted/licensed/etc. What they (the buyers) were doing, was they wanted their friend to do the work, and then they were all going to pocket the other $3,000. All of the work was completed, the contractor that my friends used did a great job, and the buyers still stuck around but were pissed their contractor friend wasn't used. Two weeks before closing date, they rented storage units (they are going to build a new house), and moved everything in, only to have the buyers find another house they liked and back out 10 days before closing (the last day that they could back out). Needless to say, they were glad that they never used the buyers contractor friend and paid $5,000....only to have the buyers still walk out.
That has happened to a couple of people I know. So whenever I hear of someone having to do work on their house, that the buyer wants fixed, I am always telling them to get their own quotes.....still have the work done professionally, but not to go out of their way to make the buyer happy or spend more money than necessary. The fact that your buyers are trying to pawn off tree removal fees with the septic tank replacement, already shows that they are pretty shady to begin with.....

CoQ10 and mag are great for migraines! Look for a water and fat-soluble form of CoQ10 for better absorption. Please also speak with your doctor before taking any supplements.
